The conflict among the Three Peak Races was thus resolved. Sea Emperor had originally planned to alter Bell's video and provoke a war among the three sides, but Gu Ding stopped him.

Gu Ding had made that decision entirely because of Bell and Casares's love story.

However, Sea Emperor had also completely erased the faint traces Reed had left behind when he spread the rumors, making their source impossible to trace while planting plenty of false leads.

The Three Peak Races searched for several days, but ultimately failed to find any definite answer. Left with no choice, they could only give up.

By then, four months had already passed, and only the final two months remained before the ruins closed.

At this point, the only burial grounds that had been conquered were the two where the Gu Ding Team and the Abyss Demon Race had obtained keys.

The Three Peak Races did not make a move, and the other major forces also seemed to have tacitly agreed not to act. They were likely afraid that after taking a key, they would become targets for others to seize it from them.

But Gu Ding and the others had not even enjoyed a few peaceful days before the God Race suddenly rushed to a burial ground overnight. After spending three days, they conquered it.

Of the more than five hundred God Race members, over half were lost once again in that battle, leaving only a little over two hundred.

On the second night after the God Race emerged from the burial ground, the Insect Race also entered one. They only emerged after two days and two nights.

Of their more than five hundred members, only a little over one hundred and eighty remained.

All of this had been under Sea Emperor's observation.
