The white zone Gu Ding and the other two had arrived in was already some distance from Giant City, and there was no one else around.
The Demonic Beasts here were creatures known as Ironclad Soldiers. They resembled humans clad in armor, but in truth, what looked like armor was actually their bodies.
Not only did these Ironclad Soldier Demonic Beasts possess armor, each of them also carried a weapon—a longsword.

"Sounds interesting." Melissa raised no objection.
"I have no objection." Robert said expressionlessly.
"Then, begin!" The moment Gu Ding finished speaking, he shot forward.
His Combat Strength erupted at full force, one hundred and twenty layers of Law Runes circling around him. Like a tiger charging into a flock of sheep, he pounced toward the Demonic Beasts.
Every time he flashed, an Ironclad Soldier was either punched or struck down with his palm. Black blood splattered across the ground.
Once Gu Ding made his move, Melissa and Robert naturally refused to be outdone.
Melissa drew her sword, her figure as graceful and immaculate as an immortal descending into the mortal world. Wherever her blade pointed, even the void trembled. Every Ironclad Soldier in her path was cut cleanly in half, not one left intact.
As for Robert, all ten of his fingers transformed into sharp arrows and shot in every direction, each strike piercing directly through an Ironclad Soldier's skull. Everywhere he stepped, the Ironclad Soldiers collapsed one after another, without even having time to retaliate.
