Chu Han and Gao Shaohui walked toward the stairs leading to the upper level as if no one else existed, heading straight for the Morgan Army that had retreated to the stairway. As for the two armies facing off, neither of them took it to heart.
What did it have to do with them?
With the first impression of two major sections of the base having been reduced to ruins, Morgan and the others were instinctively startled when they saw Chu Han and Gao Shaohui approaching. They nearly backed away again.
What were these two lords planning to do?
What made them both nervous and baffled was that Chu Han and Gao Shaohui did not even spare them a glance, simply walking ahead as though they had no intention of intervening.
That left Morgan uncertain. Were they helping no one?
Just as Chu Han and Gao Shaohui moved forward unimpeded and were about to step onto the first stair, an unusual sound suddenly came from behind them.
Bang!
Clang, clang, clang!
It sounded like chunks of iron grinding and slamming together desperately before shattering.
At the same time—
"Hah!" A loud roar rang out, accompanied by the dragging of chains.
"Owen! Owen!"
"Boss Owen!"
"He's out!"
Excited cries rose one after another as Gray and the others shouted like madmen.
Boom!
Another tremendous crash shook even the ground throughout the entire space.
Curious, Gao Shaohui turned around and saw that the huge cage had been broken open. Fragments of iron littered the ground, while a lean man dragged his chain-covered body out of the cage.
His neck, hands, feet, and even his waist were bound by heavy chains of the same material. His long hair covered his face, but the curve of the grin on the exposed lower half of
