Their movements seemed restrained by some command as they shuffled forward sluggishly, their gazes vacant, step by step toward the Feather Slayer Squad.
The only thing that made the strangeness obvious at a glance was their towering stature, so clearly different from the low-level zombie horde from before!
As far as the eye could see, high-level zombies stretched endlessly in every direction. Their numbers were beyond imagination!
The Feather Slayer Squad members immediately tightened their grips on their weapons, ready to take the lead.
Even Chu Han's heart clenched in that instant. He stood firmly at the very center of the Feather Slayer Squad, fighting on the same front line as everyone else while strictly guarding the area occupied by the strongest and most numerous zombies.
As this massive group of clearly oppressive high-level zombies drew near, the people stationed at several nearby Gear Strangler positions in the rear finally saw the blurry figures beyond the Black Rain ahead.
"What is that?" a main force soldier asked in horror, his deliberately lowered voice trembling. In truth, he already knew the answer without asking.
They were familiar with figures of such height and such overwhelming pressure, and they had encountered quite a few before. But they had never imagined a number this horrifying!
"Zombies. High-level zombies," a Wolf Fang Regiment member answered, licking his lips bloodthirstily before adding, "One of them is worth the merit points of over a hundred low-level zombies!"
