By the time Chu Han reached the platform, it was already late. After speaking with Yan Liang and waiting some more, night had fallen before he knew it.
"What a strange place." Wang Cai jumped onto the stone table and touched its surface. "A natural heater?"
Chu Han looked at the cup on the table, which had remained at a steady temperature. That might have been nice in ordinary freezing weather, but this canyon was already scorching hot. He had no patience to drink a cup of hot water here.

Just then, several rumbling sounds of stone doors grinding against each other came from nearby. Sure enough, Yan Liang emerged from within.
