Yang Jing held his breath and focused, stepping into the Martial Training Footwork once more to continue practicing "Crossing the River."
His figure darted back and forth across the bluestone floor, changing direction with a slight twist of his waist. His movements were exceptionally nimble, and the gusts he stirred sent the candles along the Training Room walls fluttering wildly.
Internal qi surged through his meridians, circulating along the paths of his movement technique. Every shift became smoother, without the slightest hitch.
At one fleeting instant, Yang Jing felt a faint sound come from within his body. Then he suddenly felt light all over, and his speed soared.
He was far more than a little faster than before, leaving faint afterimages in his wake.
Joy stirred in Yang Jing's heart.
He knew that, at this moment, he had finally advanced "Crossing the River" to the Qi-Devouring Realm!
At the same time, he clearly sensed a completely new current of internal qi in his dantian, alongside the dense internal qi condensed by the "Indestructible True Art" and the domineering internal qi tempered by the "Mountain-Splitting Seal."
This current was utterly distinctive. It felt light and nimble, its circulation like a caress of spring breeze, entirely different from the other two currents.
Yang Jing did not stop practicing. Instead, he struck while the iron was hot, repeatedly drilling the moves of "Crossing the River."
After the breakthrough, his movement technique grew even more exquisite. His speed had increased enormously, and he moved as nimbly as willow fluff in the wind without sacrificing steadiness. It was worlds apart from before.
Only after another hour did Yang Jing slowly stop, close his eyes, and focus on the changes the breakthrough had brought.
