Background / History

Yang Jing transmigrated into a body whose original owner had died from fright after seeing a bloody ghostly face. The Yang family had depleted its savings and sold most of its land to fund the original Yang Jing's martial training, leaving the household vulnerable to pressure from Feng Lei and the Ning Family. 1 2 3

Unlike his predecessor, Yang Jing abandoned Lu Yang's social circle and devoted himself entirely to training at the Sun Clan Martial Arts School. He discovered a private System Panel that tracks his martial-arts progress and lets him break through once an art reaches its limit. 1 3 13

His first breakthrough to Bright Strength earned him formal discipleship under Sun Yong and made him capable of accepting paid martial work.
