Arc 40The Hypnos Campaign

The Alliance broke the Sun River Empire through attrition, then fought Hypnos’s advancing Biological Civilization and launched a raid to capture him. Hypnos escaped through a rift saturated with Black Hole Cavity Particles and energy.

  • The Lothar Republic evacuated its people through Black Hole Channels as the Alliance entered its territory, but the Sun River Empire’s Blazing Sun Fleets soon put the Alliance on the defensive.
  • Lin Fan used hidden Black Hole Channel attacks to disrupt the Empire’s supply lines, and the Alliance wore down its fleets until Itrul, Gloucester, Willro, Pies, and most of the Empire’s peak Dark Energy Users were killed.
  • Harris secured Hypnos’s intervention by offering the Empire’s final Dark Energy Spring, and Hypnos led a vast Biological Civilization army toward the Alliance.
  • The Alliance’s first defensive line collapsed under the Biological Civilization’s attacks, including the suicidal explosion of a Starry Sky Lion, so the defenders withdrew to a second line.
  • Lin Fan sent three Black Armor assault fleets to destroy Hypnos’s Black Hole Channels, and Lin Yu cleared the enemy forces around Channels Two and Three before collapsing Channel Two.
  • Lin Fan proposed abandoning the ocean-current line and striking Hypnos at the Raball Supercluster, and the Alliance assembled its assault force while the Biological Civilization advanced.
  • The Alliance drew Kaens’s forces away from the Current Mouth, then Lin Yu led the strike force through a Black Hole Channel to Hypnos’s location.
  • Zi Luo and Zi Ling restrained Hypnos while Lin Yu tried to capture him alive, but Hypnos escaped through a rift containing dense Black Hole Cavity Particles and energy.
Chapters 977–1001 Vol. 10 Read

Ch. 977War Erupts Once More

Krum agreed to let the Alliance secretly evacuate the Lothar Republic’s population and move its fleet into three Superclusters. In Federation Year 237, the Alliance launched a full-scale offensive, but the Empire’s Solar Battleships drove it into a disadvantage.

  • Krum spoke with Speight, who proposed cooperating with the Alliance in exchange for Superclusters to shelter the Republic’s people and restore its territory after the war.
  • Speight revealed that the Human Federation’s undetectable Black Hole Channel technology could secretly evacuate the Republic and bring Alliance forces into its territory.
  • The Lothar Republic agreed to hand over five galaxy clusters to the Sun River Empire and began moving its people through Black Hole Channels into Alliance-provided Superclusters.
  • After the three-month evacuation, more than twenty trillion Alliance troops, including Federation forces and Moy Race warships, entered the Republic’s three emptied Superclusters.
  • In Federation Year 237, the Alliance launched a full-scale offensive, but the Empire’s Solar Battleships overwhelmed the Divine Radiance Civilization and Gem Empire fleets, putting the Alliance at a disadvantage.

Ch. 978Federal Ambush

Lin Fan explained that the Sun River Empire’s Blazing Sun fleets depended on vast Dark Energy Crystal reserves, then launched a Federal attack through Black Hole Channels against the Empire’s vulnerable rear. The Imperial military fell into chaos as Federal fleets devastated its energy replenishment bases.

  • Lin Fan told Altra and Tarovis that the Blazing Sun-class Warships used incomplete Black Hole Cavity Armor and questioned how the Empire had acquired enough Dark Energy Crystals to build them.
  • The Sun River Empire’s Blazing Sun Fleets broke through Alliance interceptions and helped push the Alliance back across the main battlefield.
  • Lin Fan sent Federal fleets through Black Hole Channels into the rear of the advancing Imperial forces, targeting resting troops and ships replenishing their energy.
  • Federal fleets heavily damaged the Empire’s energy replenishment bases, throwing its military into chaos.
  • Gloucester demanded to know where the attacking Federal fleets had come from.

Ch. 979Shift in Offense and Defense

Gloucester discovered that the Alliance could open Black Hole Channels that Imperial sensors could not detect, leaving Imperial forces vulnerable to surprise attacks. He ordered the Imperial fleets to retreat behind subsidiary civilization forces and sought reinforcements and supplies while arranging visual surveillance of the rear.

  • Gloucester received reports and footage showing Black Hole Channels at three coordinates, though Imperial detection systems found nothing there.
  • Gloucester ordered the Imperial fleets to withdraw while subsidiary civilization fleets covered their retreat, because the Blazing Sun Fleet needed to replenish its depleted armor particles.
  • Gloucester asked the homeland for reinforcements and ordered adjacent subsidiary civilizations to send supplies through the Cosmic Currents rather than risk Alliance attacks on Black Hole Channels.
  • Gloucester ordered warships to visually monitor rear areas where battles were not underway, since Imperial sensors could not detect the Alliance's new technology.

Ch. 980Fierce Battle in the Rear

As the Alliance counterattacked at the front, the Federation’s Third Attack Group held off a much larger Imperial force near the Greenlert Supercluster. Gloucester’s Blazing Sun Fleet resisted the Exile Ray, but Carroll prepared the Federation’s next move, leaving Gloucester unsure whether the enemy was retreating.

  • The Alliance launched a full-scale counterattack as the Sun River Empire’s fleet withdrew, while Lin Fan kept the Federal Fleet drawing Imperial forces away from the front.
  • Gloucester refused to abandon the supply line despite his adjutant warning that conventional fleets were being slaughtered by the Federation’s Exile Ray.
  • Gloucester learned the Blazing Sun Fleet was returning and ordered its three billion warships to lead a renewed charge using prototype Black Hole Cavity Armor.
  • The Blazing Sun Fleet endured most of the Exile Ray’s pulling force, convincing Gloucester that his ships could break through the Federation formation.
  • Carroll ordered the Third Attack Group to begin the second stage of its operation and open a Black Hole Channel once the coordinates were locked.
  • Gloucester’s officers reported that the Federal Fleet was drawing together, and Gloucester told his forces to prioritize protecting the supplies rather than pursuing a possible retreat.

Ch. 981War of Attrition, Restart

Lin Fan’s forces bypassed Gloucester’s new surveillance network and attacked the subordinate civilizations supplying the Imperial front lines, cutting off a vital supply route. Amles responded by ordering a war of Dark Energy Crystal attrition against the Alliance and sent Harris to seek more Black Hole Crystals from Galon.

  • Lin Fan, Altra, and Tarovis discussed their three-stage battle plan and warned that Gloucester might resort to desperate measures.
  • Gloucester established a vast network of warships to watch for Black Hole Channels after believing the Federal Fleet had retreated.
  • Human fleets attacked the subordinate civilizations behind the Imperial front lines, and Gloucester realized their supply route had collapsed.
  • Gloucester ordered his adjutant to report the crisis to the homeland, while he clung to the hope that the Empire could win a Dark Energy Crystal war of attrition.
  • Amles ordered an immediate war of Dark Energy Crystal attrition against the Alliance and sent Harris to Galon to request more Black Hole Crystals.

Ch. 982Three Million Dark Energy Crystals

Galon offered the Sun River Empire ten thousand Black Hole Crystals in exchange for another Dark Energy Spring. Amles accepted the price, leaving Harris to return and negotiate with Galon.

  • Galon explained that he was using the Sun River Empire to weaken the Federation before eliminating the empire himself, and he had Harris brought in.
  • Harris told Galon that humanity’s ability to destroy Black Hole Channels had put the Sun River Empire in danger and asked for more Black Hole Crystals.
  • Galon offered ten thousand Black Hole Crystals at once if the empire ceded one of its two remaining Dark Energy Springs.
  • Hypnos questioned why Galon would not simply give the crystals, and Galon said the Sun River Empire would accept his condition.
  • Harris reported the offer to Amles, who calculated that the crystals could yield three million Dark Energy Crystals and ordered Harris to give up a Dark Energy Spring.

Ch. 983The Final Gamble

The Federation and the Sun River Empire waged a prolonged Dark Energy Crystal war of attrition while the Alliance destroyed the Empire’s front-line subsidiary fleets. After the Empire’s supplies ran out, Gloucester ordered a last all-out attack, setting the stage for a decisive battle against the Alliance.

  • Lin Fan learned that the Federation had captured the last Supercluster bordering the Empire’s front line, but grew suspicious of how long the Empire could sustain its Dark Energy Crystal expenditure.
  • Amles and Harris decided to keep spending the Empire’s reserves, believing they could exhaust the Alliance’s much larger supply.
  • By the fifth day, the Alliance had wiped out the Empire’s subsidiary fleets and attacked its defensive line, but the Empire held firm.
  • On the fifteenth day, Amles worried that Gloucester’s supplies would run out before the Alliance’s Dark Energy Crystals did, while Lin Fan remained confident the Empire’s fleets could be ground down.
  • On the thirty-fifth day, Gloucester ordered the depleted Imperial fleets and thirteen peak-level Eleventh Order Dark Energy Manipulators to launch a final all-out attack, as the Alliance prepared to meet them with its full forces.

Ch. 984War God Squad (Part One)

List’s Divine Radiance attack group battled a Peak Eleventh Order Dark Energy Manipulator while awaiting a War God Squad. The squad arrived, but the Sun River Empire’s fighter sensed that its three Eleventh Order members were not Peak-level.

  • List ordered his fleet to retreat while fighting, wearing down the Sun River Empire’s supplies and inflicting losses at a three-to-one ratio.
  • A Peak Eleventh Order Dark Energy Manipulator attacked from more than thirty AU away, destroying roughly thirty million Divine Radiance warships with one beam.
  • List learned that a War God Squad was coming and reorganized his fleet to fire continuously, forcing the enemy to focus on defense.
  • The attacker seized two openings to destroy nearly three hundred million Alliance warships, but could do little more before the squad arrived.
  • A ship emerged through a Black Hole Channel and launched more than three hundred Dark Energy Mechs, which the Sun River Empire’s fighter sensed were not led by any Peak-level Eleventh Order Manipulators.

Ch. 985War God Squad (Part 2)

Itrul tried to lure out an Alliance Peak Dark Energy Manipulator, but the arriving War God Squad instead stopped his devastating attack with a fused defensive barrier. The squad prepared a powerful counterattack, leaving Itrul facing an unexpected threat.

  • Itrul held back against the Alliance fleet to draw out a peak-level opponent, but the reinforcements arrived without a Peak Eleventh Order Dark Energy Manipulator.
  • Enraged by the War God Squad's use of shipborne weapons, Itrul unleashed an attack capable of destroying a star region.
  • The War God Squad arranged its Dark Energy Users in formation and fused their Absolute Dark Energy Barriers using the mechs' calculation assistance devices.
  • Itrul's attack failed to damage the barrier and dissipated after more than ten seconds.
  • The War God Squad changed formation and constructed an exceptionally powerful attack.

Ch. 986Top-Tier Combat Power Wiped Out

The Alliance’s War God Squad killed Itrul and wiped out most of the Empire’s peak-level Dark Energy Users, while Gloucester’s final counterattack failed against Alliance forces equipped with Federation Dark Energy Mechs. Harris reported the catastrophe to Amles, who learned that Gloucester and the last two Protector Dark Energy Users had also been killed.

  • The Alliance’s War God Squad struck Itrul twice, killing him and contributing to the deaths of eight of the Empire’s ten dispatched peak-level Dark Energy Users.
  • Gloucester ordered Willro and Pies to join him and sent the remaining fleets to fight independently; the trio later destroyed hundreds of billions of Alliance warships in a star system.
  • Six Alliance peak-level Dark Energy Users piloting Federation Dark Energy Mechs arrived and defeated Gloucester, Willro, and Pies.
  • Harris rushed into Amles’s audience chamber and reported the failed final counterattack, the deaths of eight Protector Dark Energy Users, and the deaths of Gloucester, Willro, and Pies.

Ch. 987Preparing to Scheme Against Galon

After the Empire’s fleet and most of its Protector Dark Energy Users were destroyed, Amles approved Harris’s plan to draw Hypnos into the war and provoke Galon into breaking his restraint. Harris reached Hypnos’s territory and asked for help, but Hypnos mocked the Empire for failing again.

  • Amles learned that Gross and most of the Empire’s Protector Dark Energy Users had died and feared the Empire could not withstand the Alliance.
  • Harris proposed persuading Hypnos to bring other Biological Civilizations into the war, hoping Hypnos’s death would drive Galon to intervene.
  • Amles ordered Harris to make the plan succeed, placing the fate of the Empire’s citizens in his hands.
  • Harris traveled to Hypnos’s territory on a Starry Sky Continent and landed his warship among the Void Dragons.
  • Hypnos asked why Harris had come to him, and Harris requested help after admitting that humanity was nearing the universe’s central region.
  • Hypnos mocked Harris and the Sun River Empire for failing again.

Ch. 988Hypnos Intervenes

Hypnos agreed to help the Sun River Empire in exchange for Dark Energy Springs, and Galon allowed him to act without intervening. After the Empire’s defeat, Lin Fan and the Alliance learned that Hypnos was leading a massive Biological Civilization offensive from the central region.

  • Harris asked Hypnos to save the Sun River Empire, and Hypnos demanded its Dark Energy Springs and all crystals produced from them.
  • Hypnos told Galon he had negotiated with Harris, and Galon permitted him to mobilize every clan while refusing to intervene.
  • The Alliance destroyed the Sun River Empire’s remaining fleets, then Altra and Tarovis discussed whether to advance into the central region with Lin Fan.
  • Altra reported that the Empire had surrendered its final Dark Energy Spring to Galon, prompting Lin Fan to warn that Amles might have traded for something more dangerous than Dark Energy Crystals.
  • Altra received intelligence that Hypnos was leading a vast Biological Civilization force out of the central region toward the Alliance.

Ch. 989Lin Fan Wanted to Take a Hostage

Lin Fan warned Altra and Tarovis that the Federation’s war with Hypnos’s Biological Civilization army could provoke Galon if Hypnos was killed. As Hypnos neared the front lines, Lin Fan considered capturing him alive to extort Dark Energy Crystals from Galon.

  • Lin Fan explained that Hypnos was an artificial creation who held a blood feud with the Federation, and warned that Galon might retaliate if Hypnos were killed.
  • Altra and Tarovis learned that Galon was restrained from interfering in civilization wars and prepared for the approaching Biological Civilization army.
  • By Federation Year 239, Hypnos’s forces were less than three Superclusters from the front line, while the Federation had raised its Black Hole Cavity data analysis to 96%.
  • Lin Fan discovered that his next breakthrough required vast quantities of Black Hole Cavity Energy, and his attempt using 100,000 Dark Energy Crystals made less than one percent progress.
  • Lin Fan considered capturing Hypnos alive and demanding tens of millions of Dark Energy Crystals from Galon.

Ch. 990The Proper Way to Use Dark Energy Users

The Alliance's first defensive line discovered that Hypnos's Silicon-based Organisms resisted Dark Energy and Spatial attacks but were vulnerable to kinetic impacts. Tatarte ordered Dark Energy Users to form a Dark Energy Matrix and simulate electromagnetic cannons.

  • The Biological Civilization's boulder-like vanguard emerged from the Cosmic Current, and the Alliance's opening Dark Energy barrage killed fewer than half of them.
  • An analysis identified the vanguard as Silicon-based Organisms, and Tatarte ordered the fleets to switch to Spatial Attacks.
  • The Spatial Attacks failed to harm the Silicon-based Organisms, but fragments from an exploding planet smashed many of them apart.
  • Tatarte ordered the warships to use kinetic weapons, then realized Super Civilization warships no longer carried them.
  • Tatarte ordered the Dark Energy Users to sortie and construct a Dark Energy Matrix to simulate electromagnetic cannon fire.

Ch. 991Cosmic Current Offense and Defense (Part 1)

The Alliance initially destroyed the Rock Clan with kinetic attacks, but Hypnos had sent them to die and the next Biological Civilization wave countered the Alliance’s tactics. The battle turned against the defenders when a powerful creature blasted a hole in their defensive line, prompting Tatarol to order a concentrated attack.

  • The Alliance’s Dark Energy Users used kinetic attacks to destroy successive waves of Rock Clan warriors, and the defenders celebrated.
  • Hypnos knew the Rock Clan’s weakness and had deliberately sent them to lead the charge, expecting them to be killed.
  • A lion-like species emerged from the Cosmic Current and blocked the Alliance’s kinetic attacks with Dark Energy Barriers, killing vast numbers of exposed ninth-order Dark Energy Users.
  • Tatarol ordered the Dark Energy Users back into their warships and the fleets to open fire on the attackers.
  • A creature close to the peak of the tenth order fired a beam across dozens of AU and blasted a huge hole through the defensive line.
  • Tatarol ordered every warship able to reach the creature to focus fire and destroy it quickly.

Ch. 992Ocean Current Offensive and Defensive (Part 2)

A mutant Starry Sky Lion absorbed Dark Energy and detonated itself, destroying nearly the entire first defensive line. Lin Fan urged the Alliance to reinforce the second line with the War God Squad and peak Eleventh Order Dark Energy Manipulators as the Biological Civilization resumed its assault.

  • Tatarol learned that the Starry Sky Lion’s Dark Energy had exceeded measurement limits and ordered the fleets to activate their Absolute Dark Energy Barriers.
  • The Starry Sky Lion unleashed its stored Dark Energy in a suicidal explosion that annihilated almost all the first-line warships.
  • Tatarol ordered the surviving forces to retreat to the second line of defense and rendezvous with Commander Salakta.
  • At the Alliance Virtual Combat Conference, Altra and Tarovis questioned whether to reveal their reserves, but Lin Fan argued that the second line needed immediate reinforcements.

Ch. 993Ocean Current Offensive and Defensive Battle (Part 2)

The Alliance fought the Biological Civilization at its second line of defense as three races attacked under cover of layered shields. When the enemy opened three Black Hole Channels, Lin Fan ordered the Federation to destroy them but feared Hypnos had enough Dark Energy Crystals to keep them open.

  • The Alliance stationed Peak Dark Energy Manipulators at the second line of defense while both sides gathered forces across 200 AU.
  • Salakta learned that the enemy force included three Rank 10 peak creatures and ordered the War God Squads and fleets to target them.
  • Four trillion warships opened concentrated fire as the three biological races used layers of creatures to shield their Rank 10 leaders.
  • Three Black Hole Channels appeared between the Biological Civilization army and the ocean current, prompting Salakta to request Federation support.
  • Lin Fan ordered the Federation to attack the channels but worried that Hypnos could sustain them with a vast supply of Dark Energy Crystals.

Ch. 994Dare-to-Die Operation

As Hypnos's three enlarged Black Hole Channels overwhelmed the Federation's defenses, Lin Fan proposed using the Black Armor Fleet with Hongmeng-class Warships, War God Squads, and peak-level Dark Energy Users to attack them. Sophia's fleet advanced toward Channel No. 2 under heavy fire, reaching the edge of the Biological Civilization army as the decisive assault began.

  • Altra and Vitaros failed to find a way to destroy Hypnos's channels, so Lin Fan proposed a coordinated assault led by the Black Armor Fleet.
  • The Federation assembled three assault fleets, each with 33 million Black Armor Warships, a Hongmeng-class Warship, a War God Squad, and a peak-level Dark Energy User.
  • Sophia commanded the fleet targeting Black Hole Channel No. 2, with her son-in-law Lin Yu aboard as its peak-level Dark Energy User.
  • The three fleets departed the second line of defense and approached their targets while the Federation's defenders carefully avoided their flight paths.
  • Sophia's fleet endured long-range attacks by rotating its forward Black Armor Warships, suffering no losses as it closed to within 1 AU of the Biological Civilization army.

Ch. 995A Family of Monsters

Three fleets fought their way into the Biological Civilization army’s formation, but giant apes blocked their advance and forced Lin Yu to sortie in his Yellow Dragon mech. Lin Fan revealed that Lin Yu had recently reached the same threshold toward the legendary realm as himself.

  • The War God Squad blasted a passage through the enemy formation, and the fleets charged into it as Starry Sky Lions rammed the Black Armor Warships.
  • Sophia ordered the fleet to deploy barrier missiles, whose shields absorbed the lions’ kinetic attacks and let the ships push onward.
  • Giant apes, including powerful late-stage tenth-rank creatures, stopped the fleet, so Sophia asked Lin Yu to handle them.
  • Lin Yu launched in his Yellow Dragon mech as the other two fleets also sent their Peak Dark Energy Manipulators into battle.
  • Altra asked Lin Fan about Lin Yu’s strength, and Lin Fan said his son had recently made a breakthrough and had one foot in the legendary realm.

Ch. 996Combat Power Far Beyond Peak Level

Lin Yu arrived at the battlefield in the Yellow Dragon Mech and effortlessly eliminated the Biological Civilization’s strongest giant apes, clearing the fleet’s path. Sophia’s fleet then reached the supermassive Black Hole Channel, where Lin Yu was assigned to deploy the interference device.

  • The War God Squad abandoned its attack and split up to protect the fleet’s flanks as Lin Yu approached.
  • Lin Yu piloted the Yellow Dragon Mech onto the battlefield and destroyed a leader-class giant ape with one beam.
  • Lin Yu fired thirteen more beams, annihilating the remaining Tenth Order giant apes as they tried to flee.
  • Sophia ordered the fleet forward after confirming that Lin Yu had cleared the way.
  • Half an hour later, the fleet reached the Black Hole Channel, and Sophia assigned Lin Yu to deploy the Black Hole Cavity Particle interference device.

Ch. 997Rescue

Hypnos assembled the Biological Civilization’s tenth-order forces to prepare an encirclement, while Sophia’s fleet destroyed Black Hole Channel Number Two and diverted to rescue the fleet trapped at Channel Number Three. Lin Yu raced ahead alone, and his arrival opened a path through the surrounding enemy forces.

  • Hypnos ordered all tenth-order individuals to assemble for an attack on the Alliance in one month.
  • Lin Yu deployed the Black Hole Particle Disruptor, collapsing Channel Number Two and stranding the creatures still inside in Black Hole Cavity Space.
  • Sophia learned that the fleet at Channel Number Three was in danger and received orders to destroy the target and rescue it.
  • Sophia sent Lin Yu ahead in the Yellow Dragon Mech while her fleet changed course toward Channel Number Three.
  • Chris’s surrounded fleet saw Lin Yu arrive as a burst of light wiped out a huge section of the enemy encircling them.

Ch. 998Overwhelming Force

Lin Yu arrived to rescue the War God Squad and destroyed all eighteen tenth-order biological entities threatening them. He then raced toward Black Hole Channel Three to rendezvous with the fleet in case another wave of enemies emerged.

  • Chris directed the fleet to break through the opening Lin Yu had blasted in its left flank, while Lin Yu pursued the tenth-order creatures.
  • The War God Squad learned that Lobik was too badly injured to fight and received orders to withdraw once Lin Yu arrived.
  • Lin Yu took over the battle and unleashed eighteen beams that pierced the creatures’ defenses and wiped out all eighteen enemies.
  • The fleet reported that it would reach the entrance to Black Hole Channel Three in one minute, and Lin Yu set course to meet it.
  • Huanglong activated its Time Bubble and accelerated to Ninth War Speed, with arrival estimated in forty seconds.

Ch. 999Lin Fan's Plan to Raid Their Home Base

Lin Fan predicted that Hypnos would send thousands of tenth-order beings through the ocean currents, giving the Alliance a chance to attack the Raball Supercluster and capture Hypnos. The Alliance prepared to abandon its defensive line and launch the decapitation mission, and Lin Fan sensed the enemy had arrived.

  • Lin Fan reasoned that Hypnos might gather its tenth-order creatures and send them through the ocean currents to overwhelm the Alliance’s defenses.
  • Lin Fan proposed that the Alliance retreat from the ocean-current line while the Black Armor Fleet, Lin Yu, and several War God Squads attacked the Raball Supercluster to capture Hypnos.
  • Altra and Vitaros agreed with Lin Fan’s plan, and the three discussed how to carry it out.
  • Twenty days later, the Alliance gathered its forces on high alert and assembled the Black Armor Fleet, three Hongmeng Warships, three Peak Dark Energy Manipulators, and three War God Squads for the mission.
  • Lin Fan sensed that the Biological Civilization forces had arrived.

Ch. 1000Straight into Their Rear

The Alliance lured the Biological Civilization forces at the Current Mouth into advancing, then withdrew while Lin Yu’s fleet slipped through a Black Hole Channel into the rear of the Raball Supercluster. Lin Yu identified Hypnos as the target and began a time-limited assault to capture him before the tenth-order creatures could return.

  • At the Current Mouth, the Alliance fleets and Dark Energy users fired on Kaens’s creatures, then retreated, leaving the area empty.
  • Kaens reported to Hypnos that the Alliance had fled and the Current Mouth was under their control, and Hypnos ordered a sweep of the Tusens Supercluster.
  • Lin Yu received orders to lead the fleet through a Black Hole Channel, and the ships arrived near the Vertod Star Cluster in the Raball Supercluster.
  • The fleet detected Hypnos’s energy signature and used hyperspace to move toward the Cosmic Current node where he was located.
  • Lin Yu told the assault team they had only half an hour to complete their mission before the tenth-order creatures could return.

Ch. 1001Hypnos Escapes

Lin Yu led a Federation operation to capture Hypnos, but Hypnos escaped through a rift he tore open in the void. Lin Yu sensed that the rift contained a dense concentration of Black Hole Energy, leaving the Federation force without its target but with a clue to Hypnos’s escape route.

  • Hypnos ordered the Kalar Beast clan to enter the Black Hole Channel and clear the Alliance’s Hyperspace Interference.
  • Federation Black Armor Warships and three Hongmeng-class Warships attacked Hypnos’s forces, clearing space for Lin Yu and the War God Squads to begin the capture operation.
  • Zi Luo and Zi Ling pinned Hypnos down while Lin Yu held back from killing him, following Lin Fan’s order to capture him alive.
  • Hypnos tore open a rift in the void and escaped into it before the Federation could seize him.
  • Lin Yu asked Zi Luo and Zi Ling whether they sensed anything, then realized the rift had contained Black Hole Cavity Particles and an exceptionally dense concentration of Black Hole Energy.
