Arc 41The Ten-Dimensional Invasion

Lin Fan and the Federation built an alliance and a rapid response force as Ten-dimensional Beings invaded the Azure Dragon Universe. The Hailan Empire fell after withdrawing from the program, and the civilizations that had left begged to rejoin while Takris feared his role in the revolt would be exposed.

  • Lin Fan became a Black Hole Lifeform, helped Lin Yu advance, and led the Federation in destroying the Sun River Empire and the Fario Civilization.
  • Lin Zhen founded the Azure Dragon Universe Alliance, distributed Dark Energy Crystals, and introduced programs to strengthen allied civilizations.
  • Lin Fan brought the Alphart Civilization back to the Azure Dragon Universe, where it joined the alliance and supported the Federation’s rise toward God-tier status.
  • Three Ten-dimensional Beings emerged in the Midas Supercluster and Grios devoured an Obsidian Empire fleet before Lin Yu and his team confronted the invaders.
  • Lin Yu killed hundreds of One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts and established a Rapid Response Command Center, which the Biological Civilization joined alongside the alliance.
  • More than three hundred civilizations withdrew from the response program, and Lin Yu refused to help the Hailan Empire when it was invaded.
  • Thervise sacrificed 80 billion warships to hold off the invaders until reinforcements arrived, and the response forces saved the attacked civilizations except the Hailan Empire.
  • The Hailan Empire’s Kindling Plan failed after its Black Hole Channels and outward Cosmic Currents collapsed, and the empire fell with no survivors, and the civilizations that had withdrawn begged to rejoin while Takris feared exposure.
Chapters 1002–1026 Vol. 11 Read

Ch. 1002Capture

Lin Yu kept the operation going after Hypnos escaped into a space dense with Black Hole Cavity Particles, reasoning that it could not stay there long. After capturing the weakened Hypnos, he sent the fleet and assault teams through the reopened channel while remaining behind to protect their withdrawal.

  • Lin Yu ordered the combat units to continue the operation because he believed Hypnos would soon have to emerge from its refuge.
  • Lin Yu explained to Zi Ling that Hypnos likely could not survive in the dense Black Hole Energy for long, and the two waited with Zi Luo as the forces held the perimeter.
  • After seven minutes, Hypnos emerged from the rift, weakened by its time inside the space.
  • Zi Ling and Zi Luo restrained Hypnos while Lin Yu used his power to trap it in an energy cocoon and announced the operation's success.
  • Lin Yu sent Hypnos through the reopened channel, then watched the warships, fleet, War God Squads, Zi Ling, and Zi Luo withdraw while he guarded the channel entrance.

Ch. 1003The Final Step

Lin Fan negotiated with Galon to keep Hypnos mining Black Hole Crystals for the Federation, then used the crystals to transform his energy and Life Source. He opened a gap in the universe’s barrier to begin the dangerous final step of his evolution.

  • Lin Yu returned to the Alliance after spending a month stranded, while the Biological Civilizations withdrew after Hypnos was captured.
  • Galon came to meet Lin Fan, who demanded Dark Energy Crystals and learned about the Sun River Empire’s Black Hole Crystals.
  • Galon agreed to leave Hypnos with the Federation for a year to mine Black Hole Crystals, subject to a condition of his own.
  • Hypnos became the Federation’s stellar miner after Galon ordered him to comply.
  • After ten months of transformation, Lin Fan tore open the universe’s barrier and exposed himself to Black Hole Cavity Space for the final stage of his evolution.

Ch. 1004Lin Fan's Uncertain Situation

Lin Fan endured the destructive Black Hole Cavity Particles as his body evolved during his attempt to reach a higher realm. After Lin Hong learned Lin Fan had been missing for two months, he asked Galon to find him and help him complete his breakthrough.

  • Lin Fan remained in Black Hole Cavity Space for two months, enduring damage while his body adapted and evolved.
  • Lin Yu told the injured Lin Hong that Lin Fan was alive in Black Hole Cavity Space and attempting his final advancement.
  • Lin Hong traveled to the Kirin Clan’s ancestral land and asked Galon to find Lin Fan.
  • Galon agreed to search for Lin Fan, and Lin Hong asked him to rescue Lin Fan if needed or otherwise assist his breakthrough.

Ch. 1005Was Farn Devoured?

Galon found Lin Fan undergoing an evolution that could make him a complete Black Hole Lifeform and agreed to help him finish it in exchange for Lin Fan’s promise to protect the Kirin Clan. At the Federal Fleet Headquarters, Lin Hong revealed that powerful Ten-dimensional Lifeforms had devoured Farn and may have gained his ability to cross dimensional boundaries, leaving the timing and certainty of an invasion unknown.

  • Galon found Lin Fan near the Azure Dragon Universe and watched as Lin Fan transformed his Life Source to accommodate Black Hole Energy.
  • Galon considered attacking Lin Fan, but Lin Fan addressed him telepathically and secured his help by promising that the Federation would remain a friend to the Kirin Clan.
  • Ten days later, Lin Hong told Lin Yu that several powerful Ten-dimensional Lifeforms had torn Farn apart and devoured him.
  • Lin Hong said the creatures appeared to have assimilated some of Farn’s Zero-Dimensional abilities and might be able to cross dimensional boundaries.
  • Lin Hong told Lin Yu that he had fled Ten-dimensional Space without learning whether the creatures could invade or when they might do so.

Ch. 1006Breakthrough in the Life Dimension

Lin Fan completed his breakthrough to a higher life level in Black Hole Cavity Space and returned to the Federation as officials debated the threat of the Ten-dimensional Beings. He appeared directly in their Virtual Meeting Room, revealing a new ability that stunned the research directors.

  • Lin Yu told the Federation's senior officials that Ten-dimensional Beings were restricted by dimensional laws but could still possess immense strength and lifespans of billions of years.
  • Lin Fan and Galon parted on friendly terms after Lin Fan succeeded in his breakthrough, and Galon reminded him to keep his promise.
  • Lin Fan tested his ability to absorb Black Hole Cavity Particles and decided to return to the Federation instead of seeking out Farn.
  • Lin Yu sensed that Lin Fan had returned, prompting President Lin Zhen to call for him to join the Virtual Meeting Room.
  • Lin Fan suddenly appeared in the meeting without connecting through the Dark Energy Network, surprising the research directors.

Ch. 1007The True Form of Ten-dimensional Beings

Lin Fan entered Zero-Dimensional Space and asked Lin Hong about the Ten-dimensional Beings threatening humanity. After learning that they lived within their own timelines and could only be killed by destroying them, Lin Fan agreed to spar with Lin Hong so he could gauge his strength against theirs.

  • Lin Fan left the Virtual Meeting Room to find Lin Hong and learn more about the Ten-dimensional Being that had devoured Farn.
  • Lin Fan appeared in Zero-Dimensional Space, where Lin Hong was recovering, and revealed that he had become a complete Black Hole Lifeform.
  • Lin Hong showed Lin Fan the Ten-dimensional Beings’ forms and explained that each could travel freely along its own timeline and could not be killed without destroying that timeline.
  • Lin Hong revealed that the oldest Ten-dimensional Beings had lived for 13.8 billion years and offered to fight Lin Fan to assess his strength.

Ch. 1008Farn's Final Gift

Lin Fan told Lin Hong that his Black Hole Lifeform advancement was only beginning and that his power had not yet stabilized, while Lin Hong warned that the Ten-dimensional Beings could still overwhelm him in numbers. As Farn faced being devoured in Ten-dimensional Space, he secretly planted information in a Ten-dimensional Being, hoping Lin Hong would discover it before the invasion.

  • Lin Hong judged that Lin Fan could defeat a single Ten-dimensional Being in four-dimensional space but would likely lose against several or all of them.
  • Lin Fan revealed that he had used only half his power before stabilizing his recent advancement and said he was only a newborn Black Hole Lifeform.
  • Farn realized that the Ten-dimensional Beings could gain his ability to project into all dimensions by devouring him.
  • Farn secretly infused a trace of energy with information and sent it into a Ten-dimensional Being as it devoured him.
  • Farn gave up resisting and waited to be completely devoured, hoping Lin Hong would find the information in time.

Ch. 1009The First Plan

After Lin Fan and Lin Yu destroyed the Sun River Empire and the Fario Civilization, the Federation became the hegemon of a reunified Azure Dragon Universe. At a council meeting, Lin Zhen warned civilization leaders that roughly 150 ancient Ten-dimensional Beings might threaten them and announced the Federation’s first plan to strengthen the universe.

  • Lin Fan helped Lin Yu become a Black Hole Lifeform, giving the Federation two beings of that level.
  • Lin Fan and Lin Yu destroyed the Sun River Empire and the Fario Civilization, establishing the Federation as the Azure Dragon Universe’s hegemon.
  • The Azure Dragon Universe Alliance was founded, and Lin Zhen convened civilization leaders to discuss a possible Ten-dimensional invasion.
  • Lin Zhen explained that the Ten-dimensional Beings might gain Farn’s ability to project across all dimensions after devouring him.
  • Lin Zhen said Lin Fan could face a few Ten-dimensional Beings but would be in danger against many, and that intelligence indicated roughly 150 ancient beings existed.
  • Lin Zhen announced that the Federation would give each civilization that reached the ninth order 10,000 Dark Energy Crystals annually to help raise the universe’s strength.

Ch. 1010Dark Energy Crystal Exchange Platform

Lin Zhen announced the Federation’s Super Civilization Incubation Plan and Dark Energy Crystal Exchange Platform, using Dark Energy Crystals to strengthen other civilizations while drawing resources to the Federation. He then introduced a third plan to accelerate the creation of Peak Dark Energy Manipulators, leaving the gathered leaders stunned.

  • Lin Fan’s earlier argument that the Federation needed powerful allied civilizations explained the purpose of distributing Dark Energy Crystals.
  • Lin Zhen announced that eligible civilizations could receive ten thousand Dark Energy Crystals annually, with extra rewards for the ten best at black cavity data analysis.
  • Lin Zhen revealed a points-based exchange platform where civilizations could trade resources to the Federation for Dark Energy Crystals.
  • Altra and Tarovis realized that civilizations would compete to acquire more crystals through the platform to improve their chances of winning the annual rewards.
  • Lin Zhen introduced the Peak Dark Energy Manipulator Acceleration Plan, shocking the civilization leaders.

Ch. 1011Modifying the Talents of Dark Energy Users

Lin Zhen announced that the Federation could raise Dark Energy Users’ talent so Tenth Order users could reach Peak Dark Energy Manipulator level in ten to fifty years. Three days later, the Federation’s Dark Energy Crystal Exchange Platform opened, and civilizations began checking its prices.

  • Lin Zhen explained that the Federation would modify the Life Source compatibility of Tenth Order Dark Energy Manipulators, raising their potential to Peak Dark Energy Manipulator level.
  • Altra and Tarovis asked about the plan, and Lin Zhen estimated that supreme talent could reduce the journey from Tenth Order to peak to ten to fifty years.
  • The leaders realized Dark Energy Crystals would become vital for cultivating their people and competing for the year’s top ten.
  • Three days after the meeting, civilizations logged into the newly launched exchange platform and saw that one Dark Energy Crystal cost 10,000 points.
  • Civilizations checked the purchasing interface and saw exchange rates for Aierluo Crystal Ore, Fiers Iron Ore, and Skyfall Heart.

Ch. 1012News from the Kado Universe

The Federation gathered resources and scientists from across the Azure Dragon Universe to accelerate its progress toward becoming a God-tier Civilization. Meanwhile, the Alphart Civilization learned that the Black Mang Empire had invaded the Kado Universe and might next target the Azure Dragon Universe.

  • The Federation announced its first-year rankings, awarded one million Dark Energy Crystals to the top ten civilizations, and sparked another surge of resource shipments.
  • Lin Fan saw that the Federation’s God-tier research had advanced only one percent and blamed its shortage of scientists.
  • Lin Fan added scientists to the Dark Energy Crystal exchange platform, prompting civilizations to send researchers to the Federation in exchange for crystals.
  • Lin Aotian and the Alphart councilors learned that the Black Mang Empire had invaded the Kado Universe and could conquer it within ten years.
  • The Alphart councilors realized that the Black Mang Empire might next invade their homeland, the Azure Dragon Universe.

Ch. 1013Discovery

Lin Aotian and the Alphart council decided to abandon Dawn Fortress because it could not be completed in time to resist the Black Mang Empire. As Lin Aotian went to investigate a powerful approaching lifeform, Lin Fan discovered that he had finally found the Alphart Civilization.

  • Lin Aotian asked the council whether the Alphart should fight or retreat from the Black Mang Empire, and the councilors supported retreating because Dawn Fortress was unfinished.
  • Lin Aotian agreed to abandon Dawn Fortress but questioned where the Alphart could go without resources or time to establish another refuge.
  • A guard reported that an extremely powerful lifeform was approaching Dawn Fortress and that the council's guard force might need a Civilization Guardian's help.
  • Lin Aotian left the conference room to investigate the approaching lifeform himself.
  • Lin Fan sensed dozens of lifeforms while exploring Black Hole Cavity Space, hurried toward them, and recognized them as the Alphart Civilization.

Ch. 1014The Astonished Supreme Council

Lin Fan met Lin Aotian and the Alphart Supreme Council after becoming a Black Hole Lifeform, then urged them to return to the Azure Dragon Universe. The council learned that the Sun River Empire and Fario Civilization had fallen and that the Federation could become a God-tier Civilization within thirty years.

  • A council guard captain confronted Lin Fan and asked Lin Aotian to confirm his identity.
  • Lin Fan revealed that he had become a Black Hole Lifeform and confirmed that the Sun River Empire and Fario Civilization no longer existed.
  • Lin Aotian brought Lin Fan to Dawn Fortress, where the Supreme Council gathered to meet him.
  • Lin Aotian explained that the Alphart Civilization had planned to hold back the Black Mang Empire but lacked time to complete Dawn Fortress and had begun considering evacuation.
  • Lin Fan urged the Alphart Civilization to return to the Azure Dragon Universe, saying the Federation could become a God-tier Civilization within thirty years.

Ch. 1015The Return of the Alphart Civilization

Lin Fan assured Lin Aotian that humanity would become a God-tier Civilization within thirty years and explained that each universe could have only one such civilization. The Alphart Civilization returned to the Azure Dragon Universe, joined its alliance under the Federation’s leadership, and the chapter ended with the Divine Radiance Civilization and Gem Empire considering whether to become pure Energy Lifeforms.

  • Lin Fan confirmed that humanity expected to become a God-tier Civilization within twenty to thirty years, and Lin Aotian agreed that the Alphart Civilization could return without challenging the Federation.
  • Lin Fan explained that only one God-tier Civilization could arise in each universe, and Lin Aotian decided to bring the Alphart Civilization back to the Azure Dragon Universe.
  • More than twenty days later, the Alphart Civilization returned, and Lin Aotian announced that it would join the Azure Dragon Universe Alliance and support the Federation’s leadership.
  • The alliance took shape around the Federation as its future God-tier Civilization, the Alphart Civilization as its Transcendent Civilization, and a growing number of Super Civilizations.
  • By Federation Year 243, the Divine Radiance Civilization and Gem Empire had fully deciphered Black Hole Cavity data and faced the choice of remaining ultimate Super Civilizations or becoming pure Energy Lifeforms.

Ch. 1016Dimensional Invasion

The Divine Radiance Civilization and the Gem Empire abandoned their hopes of becoming God-tier Civilizations and began evolving into Energy Lifeforms under the Alphart Civilization's guidance, while the Federation continued preparing its own advancement. In Federation Year 245, three Ten-dimensional Beings entered the Azure Dragon Universe and Grios raced toward an Obsidian Empire fleet as its commander dismissed reports of his impossible speed.

  • Lin Aotian explained the God-tier Civilization advancement conditions to the Divine Radiance Civilization and the Gem Empire, who learned they had taken the wrong path and could not become God-tier Civilizations in the Azure Dragon Universe.
  • The Alphart Civilization guided the Divine Radiance Civilization and the Gem Empire onto the path of evolving into Energy Lifeforms, while the Alphart Civilization supported the Federation's advancement project.
  • In Federation Year 245, a crimson-black rift appeared in the Midas Supercluster and three Ten-dimensional Beings emerged, discussing how the universe's abundant lifeforms could serve as a renewable food source.
  • Grios charged toward an approaching Obsidian Empire patrol fleet after Rolte and Lance let him take the first meal.
  • An Obsidian Empire garrison fleet detected Grios approaching at 100 AU per second, but its commander assumed the reading was an error and ordered a new scan.

Ch. 1017All Attacks Were Ineffective

The Obsidian Empire’s Garrison Fleet confronted Grios, an enormous tentacled eye that ignored their attempts to communicate and proved immune to their weapons. Grios began draining the crews’ life force, leaving the fleet helpless as the attack continued.

  • The commander refused to retreat and sent headquarters the fleet’s findings while requesting reinforcements.
  • Grios came within observation range, but ignored the fleet’s communications, so the commander ordered an attack.
  • The fleet’s energy weapons struck Grios, who absorbed their energy without harm.
  • The commander ordered the fleet to fire its Railguns, but the projectiles veered away from Grios.
  • Grios extended tentacles into the fleet, seized warships, and drained their crews until they became dried corpses.

Ch. 1018Deployment

Grios and Rolte consumed the Obsidian Empire’s defenders as the strange creatures rapidly overran its territory. Lin Fan sent Lin Yu, Zi Ling, and Zi Luo to investigate and eliminate them, and the chapter ended as Zi Ling and Zi Luo’s mechs engaged the approaching creatures.

  • Grios and Rolte devoured the Obsidian Empire’s Garrison Fleet, leaving no survivors.
  • Liang Xue reported to Lin Fan that the Obsidian Empire was under attack by creatures that devoured life force and could not be harmed by conventional weapons.
  • Lin Fan ordered Lin Yu to take Zi Ling and Zi Luo to identify and eliminate the creatures.
  • Lin Yu arrived with Zi Ling and Zi Luo in the Midas Supercluster, where scans showed no surviving life and eight enormous creatures approaching.
  • Lin Yu sent Zi Ling and Zi Luo out in their mechs to test the creatures while he covered them from behind, and the two sides made contact.

Ch. 1019A Ten-dimensional Being Kill

Lin Yu, Zi Ling, and Zi Luo battled the tentacled creatures and discovered that Black Hole Cavity Particles could overcome their defensive force fields. Zi Ling and Zi Luo killed one creature, and Lin Yu took over as they prepared to attack another.

  • Zi Ling cut through the tentacles with her Dark Energy greatswords while Zi Luo supported her with rifle fire.
  • Lin Yu told Zi Ling to inject Black Hole Cavity Particles into her sword, allowing her to pierce a creature's defense and wound it.
  • Zi Luo loaded bullets containing Black Hole Cavity Particles as Lin Yu analyzed the creatures' defenses and resilience.
  • Zi Ling and Zi Luo coordinated to fire a special bullet into a wound, destroying the creature's cells and killing it.
  • Lin Yu told Zi Ling and Zi Luo to return and rest as he took over the fight.

Ch. 1020Lin Yu's Methods

Lin Yu used his new Black Hole Lifeform abilities to destroy seven Ten-dimensional Beings, while the remaining invaders gathered in the Obsidian Empire. After confirming their identity, Lin Yu ordered a scan to locate every last one.

  • Lin Yu flattened the region around seven tentacled monsters into two dimensions, then shattered and decomposed them into energy.
  • Lin Yu told Zi Ling and Zi Luo that they could become Black Hole Lifeforms within three years with enough Black Hole Crystals and his help.
  • Grios discovered that Harte and the other seven members of his group had vanished, and Loert urged caution by recalling Grand Duke Saschels's warning.
  • Grios, Loert, and Lance summoned their scattered clansmen to gather in the Lanvis Supercluster.
  • The Hongmeng Warship's experts identified the creatures as Ten-dimensional Beings and named them One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts.
  • Lin Yu ordered the ship's experts to scan the Obsidian Empire and locate all the remaining invaders.

Ch. 1021Overwhelming Strength

Lin Yu led the Hongmeng Warship to the Lanvis Supercluster after scans revealed that nearly all the One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts were gathering there. He destroyed their charging forces and left their three leaders alive, apparently intending to capture them for study.

  • Lin Yu ordered scientists to scan the Obsidian Empire, and they found 378 One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beast signatures, most of them in the Lanvis Supercluster.
  • Lin Yu chose hyperspace travel over the Black Hole Channel, and the Hongmeng Warship arrived at the former Obsidian Empire's Capital Sphere.
  • Several One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts attacked as the warship emerged, but Lin Yu blocked their tentacles with a black force field and reduced them to dust.
  • Grios, Loert, and Lance decided to fight rather than risk being devoured by Grand Duke Saschels if they retreated.
  • Lin Yu collapsed more than 300 charging beasts into two-dimensional space and shattered them, sparing Grios, Loert, and Lance for capture.

Ch. 1022Response Plan

After the One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts’ invasion of the Obsidian Empire, Lin Zhen briefed civilization leaders on the threat from Ten-dimensional Space and proposed a unified rapid-response force. The meeting ended with a leader asking whether the required deployment of Peak Dark Energy Manipulators would be temporary or permanent.

  • Lin Zhen told nearly ten thousand civilization leaders that One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts from Ten-dimensional Space had devastated the Obsidian Empire and described their strength.
  • Lin Zhen announced that the Federation and senior civilizations planned to establish a Rapid Response Command Center under Lin Yu, requiring every civilization to send its Peak Dark Energy Manipulators there.
  • Dortel questioned whether the Eskel Federation would be left defenseless without its sole Peak Dark Energy Manipulator, and Lin Zhen argued that unified deployment would provide more effective protection.
  • A civilization leader asked Lin Zhen whether the Peak Dark Energy Manipulators’ deployment would be temporary or permanent.

Ch. 1023Rapid Response Command Center

Lin Zhen secured unanimous approval for the Rapid Response Command Center, where civilizations could voluntarily contribute their strongest forces against the Ten-dimensional Beings. After Galon asked to join with the Biological Civilization, the Four Great Civilizations accepted the proposal and announced that the former enemies would cooperate through the Azure Dragon Universe Alliance.

  • Takris challenged Lin Zhen over how long civilizations would have to provide their Peak Dark Energy Manipulators, and Lin Zhen said they could withdraw but would then face any later invasion alone.
  • Altra rebuked Takris for forgetting the Federation's role in helping the Tartarus Empire become a Super Civilization, and the civilizations unanimously approved the plan.
  • Ten days later, Galon feared the Federation's forces gathered on the Starry Sky Continent might threaten the Biological Civilization, so Lin Fan told him about the Ten-dimensional Beings and the command center.
  • Galon asked to join the plan with several hundred peak tenth-order individuals, and Lin Fan supported his proposal to Lin Zhen.
  • The Four Great Civilizations approved the Biological Civilization's entry into the command center and the Azure Dragon Universe Alliance, announcing that the two camps would support one another during invasions.

Ch. 1024Simultaneous Multi-Point Invasions

Ten-dimensional Beings launched simultaneous invasions at thirty-nine locations, including the Hailan Empire, whose emperor had withdrawn from the Rapid Response Command Center program. Lin Yu deployed thirty-eight fleets and left the Hailan Empire without support.

  • After two months without invasions, more than three hundred civilizations withdrew from the Rapid Response Command Center program to reclaim their Peak Dark Energy Manipulators.
  • Weidi warned Pius that the Hailan Empire’s five Peak Dark Energy Manipulators could not defeat the One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts, but Pius dismissed the danger and hoped to win more Dark Energy Crystals.
  • A guard reported that the One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beast swarm had invaded the Hailan Empire, and Pius requested support from the Rapid Response Command Center.
  • The Alliance Rapid Response Command Center received reports of simultaneous invasions at thirty-nine locations, each facing a force of leader-class and clan-class beasts.
  • Lin Yu ordered Fleets One through Thirty-Eight to deploy and kept the remaining fleets on standby, refusing to send a fleet to the Hailan Empire because it had withdrawn from the program.

Ch. 1025Feeding While Awaiting Reinforcements

Lin Yu sent 38 rapid response formations to repel Ten-dimensional Beings, while Starlan United's Grand Marshal Thervise sacrificed fleets to protect Hahars Supercluster's civilians until reinforcements arrived. The Alliance quickly defeated the invaders at the supported invasion points, but the Hailan Empire remained in danger.

  • Lin Yu dispatched 38 rapid response formations through the Black Hole Channel and left the Hailan Empire to face its invasion as a warning to other civilizations.
  • Thervise ordered successive waves of 10 billion warships to distract the One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts and buy half an hour for reinforcements to arrive.
  • Thervise's fleet fed the invaders 80 billion warships before reinforcements emerged from the passageway at the 34-minute mark.
  • The rapid response formation attacked the beasts, killing all five leader-class entities and nearly all of the clan-class entities within ten minutes.
  • The Alliance relieved the invaded civilizations, while the Hailan Empire remained the exception.

Ch. 1026Killing the Chicken to Scare the Monkeys

Pius’s Hailan Empire faced annihilation after the Rapid Response Command Center refused to rescue it, and the Federation prevented its people from escaping. The empire fell, and its destruction persuaded other civilizations to rejoin the Command Center while Takris feared the Federation would discover his role in the revolt.

  • Pius told Weidi that the Rapid Response Command Center had refused to send help, and Weidi urged him to activate the Kindling Plan while the Imperial fleets held back the Ten-dimensional Beings.
  • Pius learned from Alec that the Kindling Plan had failed because the empire’s Black Hole Channels and outward Cosmic Currents had collapsed.
  • Ten days later, the Hailan Empire had fallen with no survivors, and Federation task forces eliminated the remaining One-Eyed Multi-Legged Beasts.
  • Neighboring civilizations blamed the Federation for sealing off the Hailan Empire, and more than three hundred civilizations that had withdrawn begged to rejoin the Rapid Response Command Center.
  • Takris feared that the Federation would discover he had secretly encouraged the revolt against the Command Center.
