Lin Fan led the Human Federation to the Viers Defense Line, where Gonggong’s Gamma Ray Cannon crushed a Zerg swarm and the Federation destroyed a thirty-five-billion-warship coalition sent against it. He then used the threat of spatial weapons against Haiti to force the four major alliances to reconsider who should command the defense line.

• Lin Tian’s First Fleet rescued Bilodis’s Second Fleet from the Void Dragons, while Farn opened a passage that let Ipros escape before the Zero-Point Bomb erased Feins.
• After the system revealed that the Planet Devourer had survived Alphart intervention, Lin Fan completed the Large Magellanic Cloud’s unification and prepared a 300-million-warship expeditionary fleet.
• Lin Fan led the fleet through Hangu Pass to the Viers Defense Line, where the Vera Federation tried to halt and inspect his ships before standing down in the face of the Human Federation’s strength.
• Bert assigned Lin Fan’s fleet to A211, and Gonggong’s Fortress-class Gamma Ray Cannon arrived in time to destroy the attacking Zerg swarm and save the defense zone.
• The four alliances demanded that the Human Federation share its energy technology, but Lin Fan’s forces annihilated their thirty-five-billion-warship fleet with a Zero-Point Bomb.
• Lin Fan demanded command of the Viers Defense Line and claimed the Federation could close the Spatial Rift, then showed Xis, Moros, and Hussein spatial weapons destroying Haiti.
• Verto sent Lainer to investigate Haiti, and Lainer confirmed that the system had been devastated, with only 32 of its original 329 planets remaining.

Lin Fan secured command of the Viers Defense Line, defeated the enormous Zerg assault on A211, and destroyed the Intelligent Zerg Socrates with a Zero-Point Bomb. As the allied forces advanced, the Human Federation returned command to Belt and withdrew after Lin Fan warned that a King Bug was approaching the Deo Bug Nest Channel.

• Lin Fan made the Human Federation the Milky Way’s fifth overlord and took command of the Viers Defense Line, then imposed a new deployment plan despite objections from higher-level civilizations.
• Lin Fan and Lin Tian defeated the two-trillion-bug assault at A211 by using the Gonggong’s Gamma Ray Cannon, holding the first defensive line, and luring away five reinforcing swarms.
• Lin Fan expanded surveillance and prepared for a much larger assault, while Bai Zixuan introduced Space Cut, a spatial weapon capable of striking across vast distances.
• Lin Fan deployed spatial Defense Platforms at A211, whose Space Cuts and Area Cuts devastated the approaching Zerg tide before the Federation legions destroyed the survivors.
• After Belt reported the suspected Intelligent Zerg’s location, Lin Fan sent a Zero-Point Bomb Carrier to Socrates’s star system, where the bomb destroyed Socrates and devastated the system.
• Lin Fan ordered Belt to build up forces around Deo’s Bug Nest Channel as allied fleets advanced, while Grand Duke Alba learned of Socrates’s death and set his sights on the Milky Way after conquering Mels Star Cluster.
• When Verto and the other overlords sought to take command back, Lin Zhen agreed but announced that the Federation would withdraw its 1.3 billion warships as well.
• Lin Fan warned Belt that a King Bug with quintillions of war bugs would reach the Deo channel exit in a year, then departed through the Super Star Gate with the Federation fleet and its major weapons.

The Human Federation exposed the Big Four’s lies about the Super Star Gate and sheltered civilizations trapped by the Zerg offensive. As the Big Four concealed further defeats, Belt and West moved to remove Verto, leaving Belt poised to take control of the Vera Federation.

• Verto replaced Belt with White, who seized control of the Super Star Gate and ordered its energy core extracted despite warnings that the process could be dangerous.
• The Super Star Gate’s overloaded core exploded, destroying much of White’s fleet, and recordings revealed that the Four Overlords had ordered the reckless dismantling and concealed the truth.
• White defected to Lin Fan, and the Human Federation released evidence of the Overlords’ crimes, throwing the major alliances into turmoil.
• Helme’s Zerg forces overran Deo and then ambushed the allied fleets, using coordinated attacks and energy-draining warships to devastate their opponents.
• After Hain’s fleet suffered heavy losses, Belt learned that Verto planned to eliminate the surviving warships, while Lin Fan agreed to shelter the stranded Level 3 civilizations and help evacuate them.
• West tried to recruit Randy and Wack to oppose Verto, but they refused to join a rebellion, so Belt ordered them confined aboard the Haidon.
• Verto’s agents tried to kill Belt, but Belt’s forces arrested William, and Verto fled toward Girt with the Third Garrison Fleet.
• Belt and West prepared to take control of the Federation, while West’s allies steered public debate toward Belt as its next leader.

Humanity intervened against the Zerg, exposed The Big Three’s conspiracy, and defeated their forces with Spatial Tear weapons and the captured Dark Star. The arc ended with human fleets invading the three rival powers and capturing Xis and Hussein.

• Bellt won the Federation vote and learned that Gilt held five billion warships armed with Gravity Cannons, while Lyons later destroyed Verto’s fleet and secret base.
• As the Zerg attacked the Viers Defense Line, the Big Three refused to let humanity help, but Lin Fan sent fleets that used Spatial Tear to stop the invasion and capture Helme.
• Lin Fan exposed the Big Three’s false accusations with testimony from survivors of the Deo Defense Line and declared war on the three Level 5 Civilizations.
• Xis stole a Zero-Point Particle Energy System and equipped an ancient Planet-class Warship, but Lin Fan’s forces overwhelmed The Big Three in the Galactic Core Channel and pursued their retreat.
• Lin Fan’s troops used a special stargate and CODE.71 to seize the Dark Star, while Wang Hu’s mechs and the Cosmic Knights captured its bridge.
• Lin Fan ordered attacks on the enemy Capital Spheres, and Lin Yu’s forces invaded the Xitria Empire and captured Xis.
• Lin Kexin’s forces pulled Hussein’s bunker from beneath Bakeland’s ruined capital and took him prisoner.
