Preparing the Harvest

Withdrawing the entire army was no easy task.

However, withdrawing only all the Tier 7 leader-class Purgatory Creatures was still quite easy. The entire process would take only a few minutes.

The problem was that the leader-class creatures here needed to recover at least half their strength before they could open a Space Teleportation Channel!

As for the ten that were currently retreating from the front line, they would not be able to reach them anytime soon.

This made things rather awkward.

"Damn it, Tara, how much longer until you recover enough strength to open a channel?"

"Ten minutes, but if I get attacked again, that's hard to say!"

"Alright, then focus on recovering. All our leader-class creatures will personally serve as your meat shields!"

After hearing the conversation between Picto and Tara, the more than twenty leader-class creatures all nodded. They then dragged their massive bodies with difficulty toward Tara.

Meanwhile, nearly 2 AU away, the ten leader-class Purgatory Creatures led by Brock gave up on returning to Tara's side. They would not make it in time anyway!

They simply opened ten Space Teleportation Channels where they were and began directing the clan-class creatures to retreat.

As for themselves, there was no rush for now!

After all, Tara still needed ten minutes, and they were not in any immediate danger. They might as well remain here and direct the clan-class creature army.
