Background / History

Lin Fan's consciousness originated outside the Azure Dragon Universe. After dying in a car accident during a relationship with Luo Li, he awakened in the body of a nine-year-old boy with the same name and appearance, while retaining none of the original body's memories. He concealed this discontinuity by claiming amnesia after the boy's fall down the stairs. 23 1056 1057

The original Lin Fan had grown up beside Liang Xue, repeatedly promising to marry her. Their families lived in the same compound until Lin Zhen became Federal President; Liang Xue waited for him after their separation, unaware that the Lin Fan who later returned had no memory of that childhood. 26

Upon transmigrating, Lin Fan obtained the Strongest Interstellar Commander System. For ten years, his apparent naps concealed extensive training in its fully immersive virtual space, where he studied fleet command and fought simulated forces from multiple races. 1
