Zhou Chen built the beginnings of Purple Micro Palace while drawing the attention of Spirit Hall and the Star Luo Empire. After awakening the Xuanyuan Sword and destroying a squad of assassins, he returned to Holy Soul Village and began expanding his faction.

• Zhou Chen awakened the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor Spirit at Spirit Hall, reached Level 30, and received a God-level Soul Ring whose energy sent a golden pillar across the continent.
• Zhou Chen recruited Yu Xiaogang with a Purple Micro Breakthrough Pill and brought Xiao Chenyu into his plans after defeating him with Soul Power Pressure.
• Zhou Chen joined Yu Xiaogang, Tang San, and Marx on a trip to Soul Hunting Forest, where he gravely wounded a Scaled Armor Beast and helped Yu Xiaogang obtain a third Soul Ring.
• Hu Liena revealed that Spirit Hall wanted to recruit Zhou Chen, then helped him escape its forces after he refused to join.
• Star Luo Empire death warriors surrounded Zhou Chen and Hu Liena, so Zhou Chen awakened the Xuanyuan Sword and burned the attackers and their leader to ash.
• Zhou Chen returned to Holy Soul Village and gave Marx and Xiao Chenyu pills, then persuaded Tang Hao to join Purple Micro Palace as a guest elder with a Blood Limb Elixir.
• At twelve, Zhou Chen learned that Star Luo Royal Secret Guards were heading toward the Balak Kingdom, ordered Xiao Chenyu to kill them, and visited Purple Micro Palace’s base in Holy Soul Village.

Zhou Chen rescued Zhu Zhuqing from the Star Luo Royal Secret Guard, took her to Shrek Academy, and helped her break with Dai Mubai. At the academy, he discovered a God King inheritance and forced Zhu Zhuqing to accept it, leaving her transformed into a Soul Saint who vowed to protect him.

• Zhou Chen brought Xiao Chenyu and Wang Sheng to Purple Micro Hall, reviewed Purple Micro Palace’s forces, and ordered the Tian Shu Guard to prepare to attack the Star Luo Royal Secret Guard.
• Zhou Chen saved Zhu Zhuqing from Zhu Zhuyun’s pursuing guards, killed the attackers, and took Zhu Zhuyun prisoner while sparing her life.
• Zhou Chen traveled with Zhu Zhuqing toward Shrek Academy, and Zhu Zhuqing learned from Zhu Zhuyun that Dai Mubai had been unfaithful to her.
• Zhou Chen and Zhu Zhuqing met Ning Rongrong on the road, then confronted Dai Mubai at the Rose Hotel, where Zhu Zhuqing ended their engagement and Zhou Chen defeated him.
• Xiao Chenyu ambushed Dai Mubai after he fled the hotel, while Zhou Chen joined Tang San, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong on their way to Shrek Academy.
• Zhou Chen’s Soul Power Pressure erupted when Li Yusong tested him, and Zhao Wuji later challenged him at the academy’s combat test.
• Zhou Chen defeated Zhao Wuji with his Five Emperors Fist, then used a lottery to obtain the Shadow God King bloodline and discovered a cache of God Crystals in Sunset Forest.
• Zhu Zhuqing refused the Shadow God King inheritance, but Zhou Chen forced the gem into her mouth, raising her Soul Power to level 79 and prompting her to vow to protect him.

Zhou Chen reunited with Hu Liena, joined Spirit Hall’s battle against Blood Infant Douluo, and uncovered the Holy Spirit Church. He then traveled to Heaven Dou City with Zhu Zhuqing and entered the God Realm Prison, where his attack on the Dragon Kings left him facing thousands of enraged dragon souls.

• Zhou Chen and Zhu Zhuqing met Hu Liena in Silves City, where Hu Liena revealed her identity as Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden and agreed to share Zhou Chen with Zhu Zhuqing.
• Zhou Chen learned the Emperor Seal Technique and disguised himself as Ji Chen while joining Hu Liena and Spirit Hall’s forces against the Blood Soul Masters.
• Blood Infant Douluo emerged during the assault, but Zhou Chen, Zhu Zhuqing, and Spirit Hall’s experts defeated him, and Zhou Chen discovered a token belonging to the Holy Spirit Church.
• Hu Liena gave Zhou Chen her Pope Token before he left Silves City with Zhu Zhuqing, while Bi Bi Dong recognized Ji Chen as Zhou Chen and agreed to spare him for Hu Liena’s sake.
• Zhou Chen and Zhu Zhuqing arrived in Heaven Dou City, then traveled to Sunset Forest and entered the God Realm Prison in search of God Crystals.
• Zhou Chen found the Dragon Graveyard and explained the Dragon God War to Zhu Zhuqing before the Fire Dragon King attacked them.
• Zhou Chen’s sword strike shattered part of the Dragon Graveyard, and after collapsing from exhaustion, he detonated his third soul ring and unleashed Xuanyuan Sword Unsheathed: Sky Shattering against the charging Dragon Kings and dragon souls.

Zhou Chen negotiated with the Dragon Kings, subdued Dugu Bo, and brought new allies and forces into Purple Micro Palace. The stretch ended with Dugu Yan taking Zhou Chen to class while Xue Ke watched them fly away.

• Zhou Chen broke the Sky Restriction Array, forcing the Dragon Kings to negotiate, and secured God Crystals, two million-year Blood Qi Soul Rings, and dragon soul bones in exchange for secrecy.
• Zhou Chen emerged from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well with Zhu Zhuqing, defeated Dugu Bo, and won his loyalty by offering to cure Dugu Yan’s inherited poison.
• Zhou Chen took Dugu Yan to Heaven Dou Royal Academy, where he defeated Yu Tianheng and his companions after Yu Tianheng challenged him over Dugu Yan.
• Zhou Chen recruited the Shi Brothers for Purple Micro Palace, accepted Ye Lingling’s confession, and prepared to meet her mother, Ye Yinzhu.
• Zhou Chen visited Ye Yinzhu, learned of Spirit Hall’s persecution of the Ye, Chen, and Ma families, and promised to protect the Ye Family’s inheritance.
• Zhou Chen gave the Shi Family the Mystic Pass Luminous Light Method, and Shi Feng pledged the clan to serve him.
• Dugu Yan took Zhou Chen to her apartment, where Xue Ke and other academy girls crowded around him and asked for his autograph.
• Dugu Yan linked arms with Zhou Chen and took him to class, while Xue Ke watched them fly away on the Xuanyuan Sword.
