Discovering Lu Leng

Hu Liena performs Lu Leng’s privately arranged Martial Soul awakening and discovers his exceptional tool Martial Soul and innate Soul Power of level twenty-one. She reports the discovery to Bibi Dong, prompting his forced recruitment into Spirit Hall. Before the recruitment, she questions whether a possible grudge against Spirit Hall could make him dangerous 1.

Lu Leng’s arrival unsettles her position as Bibi Dong’s disciple. Seeing her teacher visit him almost daily while giving her less attention, Hu Liena becomes resentful. When Yan decides to confront Lu Leng on her behalf, she initially considers stopping him but ultimately lets him go 4.

Third Soul Ring Expedition

Hu Liena leaves for Star Dou Forest without informing Bibi Dong, relying on her established teamwork with Xie Yue and Yan. Lu Leng joins them, but she refuses his help partly because she does not want to owe him a favor 9 10.
