The Variable

Under Immortal Su's lead, Gu An and Xiao Lan successfully entered the Dao Court and became true disciples of the Dao Court, while Xiao Lan became Immortal Su's personal disciple, her treatment and status far surpassing Gu An's.

The interior of Xiao Lan's first Cave Mansion was very large, just like the Third Medicine Valley, which made Gu An sigh over the Dao Court's foundations.

One had to know that though Xiao Lan's talent was unsurpassed, her cultivation was not high enough; there were more than a million disciples whose Cave Mansion treatment was better than hers.

After moving into the Cave Mansion, Xiao Lan could no longer hide her little thoughts, but Gu An sternly criticized her, telling her to cultivate properly, that longevity was the true path. This made her feel ashamed, and she stopped thinking about all those things she should not, beginning to cultivate seriously.

Gu An did not live there for nothing. He began helping Xiao Lan plant herbs and manage the Cave Mansion, allowing her to cultivate with peace of mind.

By the time he had filled the entire Cave Mansion with herbs and arranged everything in perfect order, Immortal Su came to visit and was very satisfied with his performance.

Immortal Su suddenly felt that Gu An still had quite a few merits. Perhaps what he brought Xiao Lan was a positive influence; at the very least, Xiao Lan could now devote herself completely to cultivation.

"You've done well. Help her properly. She will be the greatest opportunity on your path of immortal cultivation."

He shook his head and laughed, not minding it. Helping Xiao Lan was something he was willing to do,
