Sure enough, he was not Saundin reborn.
Zhou Qing gave him a deep look, then turned and walked toward the Gate. "Send those Fallen Ones to the Third Layer. Also, please do not tell anyone else about us."
"I never lie."
Saundin II made his stance clear.
"But you can choose not to say anything." After delivering those final words, Zhou Qing stepped through the Gate and vanished without a trace.
"Yes, I can choose not to say anything."
Saundin II nodded. "Though there are some things I forgot to tell them—the time on the Seventh Layer, and the Guardian... Forget it. With his wisdom, even if I say nothing, he will notice. He may even understand more than I do..."
After entering the Gate, Zhou Qing found himself wrapped in an invisible membrane, rapidly descending along the surrounding pillar of dazzling multicolored light.
Three minutes later, he saw an even brighter exit below.

Zhou Qing left the passage and landed on the ground. Looking back, he saw a Gate identical to the one on the Fourth Layer.

As he marveled inwardly, Zhou Qing looked around. Romantina, Dugu Bo, Rabbit Girl, and Riko were already standing nearby, observing the environment of the Fifth Layer just as he was.
Unlike the Fourth Layer, there were no buildings beside the Fifth Layer's Black Pillar. The sky was a pale pink, its clouds yellow. As far as the eye could see, rolling mountains stretched into the distance. Some were nearly a thousand meters high, while others were only forty or fifty meters tall. Low shrubs grew between the mountains.
