"Fine! I'll do it!"
Dugu Bo was intrigued. Riding the wind, he shot straight toward the Dragon Mane Snail Dove.
The Dragon Mane Snail Dove seemed not to notice the uninvited guest approaching. It continued inhaling, preparing to spray an Air Cannon at the beasts dashing across the ground.
This inhalation, however, seemed to last longer than before.
Was it tired?
When Dugu Bo was only about ten meters from the Dragon Mane Snail Dove, its head suddenly whipped around. Its short, thin, upturned trunk abruptly flared open and aimed at Dugu Bo.
Buzz!
The air surged. An Air Cannon that warped the air, carrying the force to shatter mountains and split seas, struck Dugu Bo in an instant.
"What a cunning beast!"
Dugu Bo was startled, but he did not dodge. He merely raised his arms and crossed them before his chest.
Bang!
The instant the blast engulfed Dugu Bo, its tremendous force sent him tumbling backward. The vibrating power contained within the attack also left his bare arms slightly numb, despite his having taken it head-on without reinforcing them with Soul Power.
Air currents, vibrations, sound.
Dugu Bo had figured it out. Other than humans and Fallen Ones, the creatures living within these Abyss Ruins had organs whose functions were basically related to those three things.
As Soul Power coursed through him, Dugu Bo immediately steadied himself. His legs merged into a dragon tail, while emerald scales covered his arms. His flight speed increased by more than a notch, and in the blink of an eye, he arrived behind the Dragon Mane Snail Dove.
He brought down a claw!
"Screech!"
The Dragon Mane Snail Dove let out a strange cry. Its six legs buckled, and it nearly collapsed, yet it managed to hold itself up.
