Before long, all the blood inside the Dragon Mane Snail Dove had been forced out of its body. Zhou Qing took out a glass bottle, collected some of it, and placed it in the Gray Pouch, intending to bring it back to Holy Soul Village for Tang San to study its medicinal properties and see whether it had any other uses.
Without blood, the Dragon Mane Snail Dove's body had shriveled by a third. This also made gutting it and cleaning out its organs safer, without having to worry about being splattered with blood and injured.
There was no water source nearby, so rather than take the easy route, all the internal organs except the five viscera were tossed into the canyon for the beasts below to fight over.
The remaining body was still enormous and could not be roasted whole. They could only cut the meat into chunks and grill them one by one.
Once the first piece of meat was done, Zhou Qing cut off a small piece, speared it with a knife, and handed it to Dugu Bo.
