Zhou Qing defeated Poseidon, helping Sea God Island break from its dependence on the Sea God as Spirit Hall and the Red Assembly arranged its future. After settling Ouyang Sun’s schooling, the story turned to Nuoding Academy’s team selections and the start of its Battle Tournament.

• Tang Chen revealed his Asura Form and fought Zhou Qing across the Sun Moon Continent and the Great Sea while Romantina searched the Sea God Hall.
• Zhou Qing and Romantina fused into Divine Land, broke Poseidon’s hold over the ocean, and defeated him with Ariel’s help.
• Riko, Rabbit Girl, and Purple Pearl met Ouyang Sun in Sea Dragon City and learned about his talking Martial Soul, Star Toad.
• Bibi Dong took control of Sea God Island after Bo Saixi left, then agreed with Zhou Qing to preserve the island’s customs while opening it to outsiders.
• Xiao Bai died fighting the Evil Orca King, and Zhou Qing sent the Demon Soul Great White Sharks to the Ice Sea while making agreements to protect weaker sea races.
• Zhou Qing brought Ouyang Sun to Holy Soul Village and enrolled him at Hope Primary School, while Tang Chen married Bo Saixi.
• Nuoding Academy students formed tournament teams, with Qingzhu Zhu leading Team 33 and Dai Mubai registering with Huyan Li and their companions.
• Nuoding Academy’s Battle Tournament began as the dean and Zhou Qing’s group addressed the students.

Zhou Qing’s team completed the tournament selection, then he brought the students to Holy Soul Village, where Lu Qibin recounted how Li Yang challenged the Star Crown Sect’s suppression of Star Gazing. Li Yang appeared to die after defying the sect, but she awoke in her grave and bargained with the woman who had come to rob it.

• Zhou Qing’s students fought through the Nuoding Team selection match, where Ouyang Sun defeated Dai Mubai but was disqualified for breaking the rules.
• Zhou Qing took the students and teachers to Holy Soul Village and explained the Red Assembly’s goals and its exercise-based cultivation methods.
• Lu Qibin told Zhou Qing how he had met Li Yang at the Star Crown Sect and how she became fascinated by the movements of the stars.
• Li Yang studied the heavens with Smith, developed a sun-centered model of the universe, and learned that the Star Crown Sect hid such knowledge to protect its plan to produce a Star God.
• After Smith was killed, Li Yang refused to recant her research and publicly declared that the sun was the center of the universe.
• Li Yang drank a poison she had prepared and collapsed, while the sect claimed she had died absorbing her Third Spirit Ring and her family buried her.
• Lu Qibin told Zhou Qing that Li Yang had feigned her death and left Xu Ming a metal ball, then a woman dug up Li Yang’s grave to claim her promised valuables.
• Li Yang awoke when the woman struck her chest and offered to show her where the money was hidden if the woman returned the materials.

Li Yang’s forbidden research drew the Star Crown Sect into a campaign of persecution, but her work passed to Huo Xing, Li Ming, and eventually Li Zhao. The arc ended with Li Ming and Li Zhao in Star Luo City, while Li Gong and Lu Qibin were expelled after opposing the sect.

• Li Yang survived by taking another woman’s clothes and hiding in her home, while Li Gong and Lu Qibin began hunting for her research and suppressing the Earth as a Star Theory.
• Xu Ming uncovered Li Yang’s star-system model, continued her research, and was driven to suicide after the Star Crown Sect discovered his work, leaving Huo Xing to flee with a pendant and directions to Li Yang.
• Li Yang took Huo Xing as her assistant, and he helped her study the stars while Li Ming joined their secret research and published answers through the Academic Bulletin Boards.
• After Li Yang completed the Earth as a Star Theory, she hid her research and sent Huo Xing away, but Huo Xing tried to delay Li Gong and Lu Qibin and was badly injured before Li Yang was captured.
• Li Ming carried the recovering Huo Xing to Lanke Village and escaped the sect, while Huo Xing found that beggars had preserved his book and set out to restore it before the sect later killed him.
• Li Zhao tried to improve life in Lanke Village and found her parents’ notebook, but Edward betrayed her to the Star Crown Sect before Li Ming intervened and killed him.
• Li Zhao offered Li Ming her memorized account of Huo Xing’s book, then proposed working together on ways to earn money and educate commoner children.
• Li Gong confronted the Star Crown Sect after learning Li Ming was alive, and the sect expelled him and Lu Qibin as Li Ming and Li Zhao reached Star Luo City to hide.

Zhou Qing trained the Nuoding Team, while Tang San and Xiao Wu advanced their cultivation through Inner Scenery. As the Continental Elite Tournament approached, political tensions with the Red Assembly grew and the group traveled to Spirit City, where Huo Wu challenged them.

• Li Zhao died after giving Lu Qibin Li Yang’s pendant, and Lu Qibin later accepted Zhou Qing’s metal ball and returned his gaze to the stars.
• Zhou Qing trained the Nuoding Team, helping Ning Rongrong use her enhancement skills on herself and assigning the students missions that tested their teamwork and judgment.
• Dai Mubai took Yu Xiaogang as his master to pursue the Evil Eye Holy King’s power, while Zhou Qing warned him not to seek a Martial Soul mutation before reaching the Titled Douluo realm.
• Hu Liena chose to reform Spirit City instead of competing, Tang Chen prepared the Clear Sky Sect for war, and Xue Ye decided to eliminate the Red Assembly.
• Tang San opened his Inner Scenery after receiving a sixth Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring and completing Secondary Refinement on six Artificial Soul Rings.
• Xiao Wu opened her Inner Scenery and defeated Romantina in a spar, then traveled with Zhou Qing and Tang San toward Spirit City as the tournament approached.
• Huo Wu challenged Zhou Qing’s group in Spirit City, but Xiao Wu stopped her punch, and Dugu Bo explained his effort to merge his Inner Scenery with the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
