At a victory anniversary ceremony, Lu Yuan honored the people who had helped humanity survive and urged everyone to prepare to continue their journey.

• Ma Dafeng woke from a fifty-six-year coma and learned that insectoid organ transplants could remove the aberrant power that had changed his body.
• Lu Tiantian and the doctors examined Ma Dafeng, found that he had developed enhanced abilities, and confirmed that the final patients would soon recover.

After Ancient Insect claimed it had only years to live, Lu Yuan tried to leave, but the insect abruptly admitted it could endure for thousands of years and pleaded with him to stay.

• Lu Yuan realized the grotto-heaven was inside a living creature’s heart and arrived with the delegation at the Underground Alliance’s underground world.
• Chairman Tie Kui welcomed the humans and offered a Legendary axe as payment for treating Ancient Insect.
