Yet the traces were far from obvious. Perhaps the satellites and scout planes had simply failed to capture the relevant footage by chance. After all, those devices covered the entire battlefield; they could not possibly keep Specimen No. 1 under constant surveillance for all thirty-five hours. They could only extract relevant clips from the vast quantity of monitoring data.
If it had been especially clear, the professionals from the Tactical Intelligence Division would have found it long ago.
After confirming there were no particularly obvious clues, Ronan turned his attention to other matters while the others continued their efforts to discuss and analyze the evidence.
He had been mentally prepared for arrangements such as the Dream Weaver and the inferior Altar Spiderweb to draw the "attention" of The Other Side—that was, the Evil Poison environment.
After all, this was an extreme test. What they were observing was the system's response.
The attention of powerful entities within the system also counted as one kind of response.
If they could truly confirm that there was a resonant connection between the two, it would be worth digging deeper.

Now that he thought about it, the Dream Weaver and the inferior Altar Spiderweb were probably the most "Mental Side" constructs Ronan had created over the past few days. Other things, such as psychic sensing, remained
