Ronan said nothing further, because at least half of what he had said earlier was bluster.
There was nothing wrong with the reasoning, and he really could sense it, but things like "integrated multi-source fluctuations" and "Fire Seed fluctuations" were nowhere near as clear and definite as he had made them sound.
The more macroscopic "Sound and Breath Background Color" was very difficult to reflect a local area with such precision.
Unless there was a technique for "targeted" output, like when Ronan spoke with Chun Great Lord. In fact, at least eighty percent of their previous communication had depended on Chun Great Lord to sustain it. If the other side had been another "Ronan," every exchange would have been a laborious process of frequency matching, encoding, and decoding, with efficiency dropping by at least two or three levels.
So, the current description of "Specimen No. 1" was merely a conclusion Ronan had drawn from combined data and intelligence, vague perceptions, theoretical models, and a measure of intuitive guesswork.
