If Liang Lu's skull had appeared here, it all but proved one thing:
Back in 2080, during the third clash between Liang Lu, Li Wei, and Tu Ge, Liang Lu had died alongside the fragment of Tu Ge's "Trump Card."
He had most likely been gravely wounded by the Trump Card's power. Judging by how the Abyssal Illumination mechanism was set up, he must have still been breathing after the battle, though perhaps not for long.
Neither Li Wei nor Tu Ge had expected such a result. Completely unaware of it, they had kept trying every means to determine Liang Lu's condition and search for the Trump Card fragment. Even when they later found Hundred Peaks Monarch's "bait" and tried to capture it again, they had never imagined their greatest threat lay buried here.
So even if Grandfather and Ronan's father had once been in contact with Liang Lu, that contact had ended after 2080.
Ten years later, in 2090, what had prompted Li Wei to forcibly take Deep Blue World on a "tour" really was just an illusion created by Ronan's father, Luo Zhongheng, to make Li Wei think Liang Lu had appeared. Yes, only that would have made Li Wei wary enough to keep hiding in Deep Blue World until Ronan burst onto the scene.
It made perfect sense.
Yet Ronan still had questions.
He had long suspected that Liang Lu was already in terrible shape after 2080; otherwise, Luo Yuandao's team would not have been so easily manipulated. But it was hard to imagine that Liang Lu had died so early, let alone alongside the Trump Card fragment.
That made the whole thing feel decidedly deliberate.
Had he ended up trapped here by accident? Had he done it on purpose? Or had it been the only choice
