No matter what, cooperation was a matter for later. Right now, Ronan had no time to worry about anything else. He focused on recalling the weightless, dizzy spell from moments ago—the interwoven Space-Time Structures and warped lines—trying to trace their underlying patterns and turn this unexpected gain into something truly useful. At the same time, he gave New Wildfire an order:
Capture a few survivors and get out of there fast.
This was the Three-No-Care Zone, a place where no one was in charge—and where anyone could interfere.
If things went wrong, the Reclamation Corps, and even Li Wei from the Deep Blue World, might come jumping out.
Human hearts were a curious thing—if the Reclamation Corps or Li Wei had suddenly appeared before Ronan a few minutes ago, he would have gladly fought them and broken that damned deadlock. But now that he had stumbled upon this unexpected gain, he felt that fighting now would be too much of a loss.
Li Wei especially—Ronan found the more he thought about that bastard, the more unfathomable he seemed. It was best to avoid his edge for now.
There was plenty of time ahead.
Influenced by the "motive" woven by Ronan, New Wildfire naturally developed the urge to retreat. Yet outwardly, the Lava Giants growing and separating from Lava Island only became more imposing.
Not only did their numbers increase, but the rock strata and magma composing their massive bodies also interacted intensely with the Abyss Turbulence. Somehow, their friction generated electricity, forming blazing, dazzling plasma bubbles that splashed outward in great sprays. As a result, after advancing a certain distance, the Lava Giants rapidly shrank, yet spread out a domain highly compatible with the current geological environment, rejecting all other rules.
These Lava Giants vanished and regenerated continuously, seeming endless.
