Both were mysterious, impossible to distinguish as friend or foe, yet surprisingly "frank."
Fine, Ronan admitted that his impression of that possibly existent "Mastermind" was fairly good because it had readily handed over the highest permissions for "Lava Island," allowing that side to modify it according to Ronan's needs and New Wildfire's "aesthetic."
Ronan also knew that, according to the Sanctuary logic used to construct Lava Island, all operations were shared—an internal demonstration of sorts—and The Other Side would definitely benefit as well. But Ronan was happy to see such a "win-win" situation. Especially when neither side knew enough about the other, when both concealed themselves and trust was difficult to build, frank and direct cooperation was the only way forward.
Well, all of that depended on whether that "Mastermind" really existed.

Guided and positioned by Ronan's consciousness, the Suspended Illumination crossed the barrier between Inner and Outer Earth and shone upon the temporarily "open-roofed" Lava Island deep beneath Outer Earth's strata. It illuminated the Mechanical Jungle, New Wildfire busily working within it, and the sleeping Hong Qiang.
After that, Ronan did nothing else. Simply keeping it suspended there was also a form of surveillance and perception.
He had to admit that after the Cloak APP opened, things were different from what Ronan had imagined.
