Ronan put it dramatically, but in truth, he was grateful for the Martial Emperor's sudden "test."

No matter what, the Martial Emperor was the only person he could find in Earth Spacetime with whom he could discuss the overall situation. Only through her could he receive feedback and determine whether his line of thinking was right, wrong, or appropriate.

Raven walked over to Ronan's side but still said nothing. Ronan was still gazing up at the Starry Sky, his eyes gradually extending from overhead toward the distant outer sea.

To ordinary people, there was only the boundless Starry Sky and the dark, deep ocean. Yet Ronan could see a cluster of long, narrow veins that were nearly nonexistent, like vines spreading and growing through the night sky. They extended from the southwestern heavens,
