Uzumaki Menma guided Naruto while intervening in the Hyuga Clan’s Caged Bird system and manipulating the crisis between Leaf Village and Cloud Village. After devastating Cloud forces at Moon Valley, Menma returned to the Hyuga and confronted Hizashi as Neji’s anger grew.

• Naruto met Uzumaki Menma and Kurama in the Sealing Space, where Menma comforted him, taught him, and urged him to earn recognition by becoming strong.
• Menma infiltrated the Hyuga compound, confronted Hizashi about the Caged Bird seal, and left after killing a bird that struggled when he tried to free it.
• The Cloud delegation leader tried to abduct Hinata, but Hiashi stopped him, triggering a crisis as Kumogakure demanded Hiashi’s corpse and threatened war.
• Hizashi chose to protect Hiashi and the village, but Menma provoked fighting at Moon Valley and killed many Leaf ninja before battling the Fourth Raikage and Killer B.
• Menma defeated Cloud forces with the Azure Dragon and a black sphere, then withdrew after injuring the Raikage, and Cloud Village retreated and Konoha’s war vote was halted.
• Menma rescued Hinata from bullies and gave her his right arm, which dissolved into golden light and was absorbed into her.
• Neji grew resentful of the Main House and Konoha over Hizashi’s sacrifice, while Menma activated Hizashi’s Caged Bird seal and knocked Neji unconscious.

Menma challenged the Hyuga clan system while training Naruto and maneuvering around Konoha’s growing Uchiha crisis. After Menma seized Danzo’s stolen Kotoamatsukami eye, he attacked Shisui, leaving Shisui wounded and struggling to protect his remaining eye.

• Menma confronted Hizashi about the Caged Bird seal and urged him to help free the Branch Family and overturn the Hyuga clan system.
• Menma temporarily blocked Neji’s curse mark and asked Hizashi to find the Hyuga genealogy and ancient Caged Bird texts.
• Menma trained Naruto and challenged him to think beyond the rules of moral dilemmas, while Hinata rejected the Caged Bird seal and defeated Neji.
• Hinata condemned the Main House elders, and Hizashi knelt to protect the Branch Family as the elders tried to suppress them.
• Naruto impressed Hiruzen with his Wind Release, gained permission to attend Ninja School, and questioned the conflict between the Uchiha and the village.
• Shisui warned Hiruzen that the Uchiha were preparing a coup and offered to use Kotoamatsukami, but Danzo ambushed him and stole his right eye.
• Menma attacked Danzo, took the Hashirama Cells arm and Kotoamatsukami eye, and killed several Root ninja with a blast.
• Menma confronted Shisui and summoned Azure Dragon and White Tiger, and Azure Dragon pierced Shisui’s abdomen as he struggled to protect his remaining eye.

Menma manipulated the aftermath of Shisui’s death while shaping Naruto through a dangerous birthday operation and intervening in Yakumo’s crisis. The Kurama Clan accepted Menma’s offer to help Yakumo master her power in exchange for their loyalty.

• Menma killed Shisui, took his remaining Mangekyō Sharingan, and left Root to discover the body as he planned to use the death against Danzo.
• Naruto began at the Academy, where Iruka reconsidered his hostility, while Menma discovered Yakumo’s dangerous Kekkei Genkai and offered to teach her control.
• Fugaku confronted Hiruzen over Shisui’s death, and Hiruzen ordered Root disbanded as Danzo concealed his own involvement and sought more Sharingan.
• Naruto defeated Sasuke in a spar, then followed Menma to a hidden laboratory, where he killed a prisoner as his first step toward Menma’s new order.
• Menma implanted Shisui’s Mangekyō Sharingan and Hashirama Cells into Naruto, awakening an eye in Naruto’s palm and incomplete Wood Release.
• Hinata stood up to Neji and challenged the Hyuga Clan’s oppression, while Yakumo’s distress caused her genjutsu to trap her family in a burning illusion.
• Menma disrupted Yakumo’s genjutsu, subdued Idu, and demonstrated his enhanced illusions before offering to train Yakumo as his weapon.
• Kurama Unkai pledged the Kurama Clan’s loyalty if Menma could help Yakumo master her Kekkei Genkai, and Menma promised to give them power.

Menma gathered allies and developed new powers while Naruto learned the truth about his parents and received their support. As Itachi began the Uchiha massacre, Inabi led the clan’s children out of the village with Kurama Unkai and Yakushi Nonō.

• Itachi accepted ANBU surveillance duty, rejected Fugaku’s call to join the coup, and reported the Uchiha plan to Konoha’s leaders.
• Menma recruited Inabi and Setsuna to his cause, rescued Shin Uchiha, Yakushi Nonō, and Kabuto, and brought Kurama Unkai and Yakumo into his experiments.
• Menma created an adult body using Naruto’s genetic structure and tested Fusion Fluid, then taught Kurama how to form the Great Spiraling Ring.
• Menma showed Naruto’s mistreatment to Minato, reunited Naruto with Kushina, and saw both parents promise to help him while Naruto declared he would oppose Konoha’s corrupt leaders.
• Itachi stole the Uchiha coup plans and delivered them to Hiruzen as Fugaku confronted him about avoiding the clan meeting.
• Itachi began the massacre as Obito and Zetsu attacked the Uchiha Police Force and Root sealed off the clan grounds.
• Inabi freed the prisoners, received Setsuna’s eyes, and led forty-three Uchiha children out of the village with Kurama Unkai and Yakushi Nonō.
• Itachi killed an elderly Uchiha couple after the old woman greeted him at their home.
