At 11:59 p.m. on the last day of May, the latest chapter of this book went live, bringing its word count to exactly one million Chinese characters.
It was a day worth commemorating, and it happened to coincide with the monthly recap,
so let's chat a little.
The first chapter was published on December 28 last year, so it should have been exactly five months by now,
with an average of 200,000 characters posted each month. (This month hit that average.)

Neither a lot nor a little. You can absolutely count on Bing Huo's updates. This pace should stay more or less steady through the end of the book, with occasional bursts of extra chapters.
Since the book launched, it has reached an average of 2,400 chapter subscriptions,
a tiiiiny bit of success.

(Way to go, Bing Huo!)
It's all thanks to the support of everyone reading the official release. You have my deepest thanks! (There are perks coming up.)

The second thing is merchandise for this book.
Recently, with a great deal of help from reader 'Xi Rongheart', all the characters in this book have received their own exclusive portraits.
They'll be added to the character
