Zombie hordes numbering fewer than a million were easy to deal with.
After all, they could not yet form zombie amalgamations, and their attack power was limited.
Their means of countering airborne enemies were also limited. They were basically a bunch of living targets.
But things were different with hordes numbering over a million.
Hordes numbering one to three million were the most common, with 80% falling within this range.
These were the main focus of the Heavenly Net's campaign.
They could not be fought head-on.
Unlike Home No. 1's Superhuman soldiers, the Heavenly Net could not perform more powerful combination techniques whose instantaneous attack power could cut through a zombie amalgamation's defenses.
Once a zombie horde formed an amalgamation, they had to avoid its might, or they could easily suffer casualties.
So... the combat plan issued by headquarters was: when the enemy stays put, we advance; when the enemy merges, we retreat; when the enemy tires, we attack.
Relying on high mobility and excellent endurance, they would lead the zombie hordes around like dogs.
They would start with two rounds of cannon fire, then retreat immediately once the horde began forming an amalgamation, giving it no chance to exert its power.
It took time for a zombie horde to form an amalgamation, and that window was enough for the Heavenly Net's soldiers to retreat safely.
And the zombie hordes could not remain in amalgamation form indefinitely, since doing so consumed enormous amounts of energy.
Especially at night, when they could no longer take in solar energy, the zombie virus became less active, and their energy could not recover.
They could not sustain amalgamation form for very long.
And they could not catch the nimble Heavenly Net soldiers, whose [Electric Jetpacks] flew ridiculously fast!
It was all about wearing them
