Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Pseudo-Superhuman civilian program 237 Gene Optimization Serum becomes available for ten Energy Crystal Cores, with installment payments permitted over one month. The serum more than doubles physical capabilities.
40,000 Pseudo-Superhumans 450 Equipped civilians supplement the Superhuman Brigade and help reclaim approximately 400 km² of territory.
All 1,205 official Superhumans reach Tier 2 509 Achieved by May 8, Year One of the Apocalypse, through Shen Jin’s potion supply. Captains and Sun Li reach advanced Tier 2; Meng San reaches peak Tier 2.
A-rank unusual-form ability upgrades 551 Li Zhe receives the Eight-Armed Asura Potion, while his deputy receives a rubber-body advancement potion. These remove their previous abilities’ maintenance-related side effects.
Further Tier 2 and ability-rank enhancement 573 Veteran fighters reach mid, advanced, or peak Tier 2 according to talent and prior progress. Enhancement potions also improve strength-based abilities with defensive shields and internal force.
Tier 3 command cadre 617 Seven company captains and thirty-two squad leaders are brought to Tier 3 following earlier battles in B City. Meng San advances independently rather than taking the distributed potion.

Background / History

Home No. 1 develops around Shen Jin’s villa in Q City. By the time the settlement receives its name, the villa has been enlarged from two aboveground floors to eight, with its underground levels unchanged. Forty newly recruited unusual-form ability users increase demand for accommodation, requiring the first-floor Superhumans to share rooms 232.

Shen Jin proposes Home No. 1 to express the group’s role in leading Q City’s civilian forces to kill zombies and reclaim their home. Shang Qian, Yang Ao, and Li Moxiao accept the name, with “home” preferred for its warmer meaning than “base.” Li Moxiao is assigned to guard the settlement while Shen Jin works outside 232.

The base expands through fortified construction, restored production, civilian enhancement, and resource recovery. Its growing reputation attracts newcomers from surrounding settlements, while its factories, services, and friendly residents impress visitors such as Liu Dalao, who loses his resolve to destroy it after entering 257 282 285.

Layout

  • Inner city: Initially a one-square-kilometer area reserved for Shen Jin and his Superhumans, later developed into the commercial and administrative center 301.
  • Headquarters villa: Shen Jin’s residence and the location of leadership meetings, including the round-table meeting on its top floor 232 611.
  • Team territories: Areas developed by Yang Ao and the captains surround the inner city like the points of a star 358.
  • Outer and satellite cities: Alongside the inner city, these form the base’s three-part organization after its Q City expansion 450.
  • Red Light Livable Residential Complex: A residential area housing newcomers, including Liu Yue’er and several outside Superhumans 358 425.
  • Six-city triangle: Q City, Panjin City, and D City form its vertices. Gourd City and Jinzhou City lie between Q City and Panjin City; Yingkou City lies between Panjin City and D City 619.
  • Sea connection: A 140-kilometer bridge links Home No. 1 with Red Water Bay Base, permitting vehicle and supply traffic. The later consolidated region uses the sea bridge to connect Q City and D City 451 619.

The original base faces the sea to the south and mountains to the north. Northern expansion uses mountain terrain as a natural defense and provides nearby quarrying sites 310.
