He quickly lowered his eyelids, trying to hide the emotion in his eyes as his mind raced through possible excuses.

Just as his thoughts spun rapidly, Snape's gloomy, icy voice crashed down on him, each word seeming to be squeezed out through clenched teeth:
"Le. O. Qi."
Skofot's body stiffened almost imperceptibly.
He raised his head, and the distant, composed smile belonging to a [Level 2 Leader] had already appeared on his face,
as though the one who had gone mad in the darkness moments ago had not been him.
His gaze swept over the marks on Snape's neck without the slightest ripple in his expression. Then, in a perfectly natural tone, he said something wholly inappropriate:
"The moon in the dungeon... is round too."
After saying that, he actually began looking seriously around the brightly lit dungeon, as if searching for a window and moon that did not exist.
Seeing him switch faces in an instant and attempt to muddle through, Snape felt an utterly absurd fury shoot straight to his head.
His rage made him laugh. The corner of his mouth twisted into an extremely cold, distorted curve, his voice carrying undisguised mockery and something almost vindictive:
"Heh... Didn't you want to stay with your... 'lowly Potion Professor'?"
He deliberately stressed the word "lowly," his gaze sharp as a blade. "Then don't leave."
The composed smile on Skofot's face froze for an instant.
He had not expected Snape to follow up on his own words so directly and pin him down with them.
Stay in Snape's dungeon?
