Chen Junting led his classmates through the advancement assessment, earned a place on Shrek’s Reserve Team, and joined the Monitoring Group on a dangerous mission. The team destroyed the Hand of Death bandits, but Yao Haoxuan was left fighting for his life after Death God’s Emissary attacked.

• Chen Junting and his classmates defeated five Inner Academy students in the advancement assessment, earning the Second Grade 27 points.
• At the Treasure Appreciation Fair, Chen Junting and Ning Tian bought rare treasures, including a Golden Ancient Tree Branch, and Electrolux began studying the Sea God’s Light within it.
• Chen Junting and the other Core Disciples competed for seven Reserve Team places, then persuaded Xuan Zi to include He Caitou and Wu Feng as rotation members.
• During training, Chen Junting became Reserve Team captain, while the group learned that Ma Xiaotao had replaced Wang Lian as captain of the Main Team.
• Xuan Zi brought the students into the Shrek Monitoring Group, and all nine Outer Academy recruits accepted its dangerous mission to eliminate the Hand of Death bandits.

Chen Junting led Shrek through the opening tournament rounds while the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect clashed with the Body Sect over Huo Yuhao. At the Starlight Auction, Chen Junting exposed the danger of the Ice Jade Scorpion Soul Bone, and Xu Jiawei’s decision to give it to Shrek and the Nine Treasures Sect revealed that Chen had drawn him into a plan.

• Mu En punished Xuan Zi, appointed Little Song to lead the Shrek Monitoring Group temporarily, and urged the academy to value teaching over victory.
• Chen Junting led Shrek to an opening win over Heavenly Spirit Academy with his Seven Kills Sword and a Combined Soul Tool, then helped the team use later Round Robin matches for experience.
• Tai Yu welcomed Chen Zifeng and the other new disciples into the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, then drove off Lang Ya and Yu Tao after they tried to recruit Huo Yuhao by force.
• Shrek won its matches against Thousand Spirit and Zhengtian Academies, with Chen Junting and his teammates demonstrating their strength and use of Soul Tools.
• Du Busi attacked Tai Yu and Elder Song over Huo Yuhao, but Ye Xuanji and Ning Bo Wen confronted him, and an unknown voice stopped the escalating battle.
• Ning Bo Wen gave Chen Junting five hundred million Gold Soul Coins, and Wang Yan led Shrek to the Starlight Auction after accepting Qingya’s invitation.
• Ning Tian bought three Soul Bones, and she and Chen Junting won the Heaven-Opening Earth-Splitting Cannon before Xu Jiujiu presented an Ice Jade Scorpion Soul Bone.
• Chen Junting warned that the Ice Jade Scorpion Soul Bone could kill anyone without Ultimate Ice, and Xu Jiawei abandoned his private sale plan and decided to give it to Shrek and the Nine Treasures Sect.

Chen Junting helped Shrek win the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Soul Duelling Tournament, then advanced his cultivation and aided Tang Ya’s recovery. In the Star Dou Forest, he formed a soul contract with the Dark Golden Claw Bear and began an induction with the Three-Eyed Golden Lion that left its outcome unknown.

• Chen Junting won the Snow Emperor Embryo at auction, accepted Electrolux’s inheritance, and helped Shrek defeat its opponents to claim the tournament championship.
• At the Sea God Pavilion, Chen Junting advanced to rank 46, formed the Seven Kills Domain, and absorbed Chen Xin’s Rakshasa-tainted Left Leg Bone to reach rank 50.
• Chen Junting stopped Tang Ya from losing herself to her desire for revenge, and Mu En cleansed her Soul Rings so she could rebuild her cultivation.
• Chen Junting proposed that the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect exchange soul guidance device research for the Tang Sect’s hidden-weapon production methods, then joined Huo Yuhao, Tang Ya, and Xiao Xiao on a Star Dou Forest hunt.

After leaving Shrek with Gu Tianchen for a three-year journey, he investigated a hidden secret realm beneath Greatsword Mountain.

• Chen Junting intercepted and altered the Sea God's Light meant for the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, then reported the Holy Spirit Cult's strength to Shrek's leaders.
• Chen Junting and Ye Xuanji secured a secret partnership between Shrek Academy and the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect to research Soul Spirits, and Huo Yuhao contracted the Seven-tailed Three-eyed Demonic Fox.
