After putting on several matches at the Martial Arts Tournament, Broly's team had won a great deal of money. But upon learning that Big Brother would be leaving in a little over a month, the children's hearts were still filled with reluctance and sadness.
Material wealth could not soothe that reluctance and sadness. If they had to choose between money and Big Brother, probably no one would choose money. But Crystal Palace had not given these children—or Broly—the chance to choose.
Amid that somewhat sorrowful atmosphere, Broly's group, now grown to seventeen people, once again set out on a journey to escort children who wanted to return home.
However, halfway through their journey, Broly's group encountered a pair in distress: a wealthy young lady and a little maid. They claimed that while traveling to a great city to visit relatives, their party had been attacked by bandits and they had ended up stranded in the wilderness. By chance, they had run into Broly's group and asked for help.
"Thank you so much. If we hadn't met you, we really wouldn't have known what to do."
The young lady said tearfully, gazing at Broly with watery eyes.
"My name is Merraid. May I ask this little brother's name?"
Assassin Miss, who had already changed into a different disguise, asked Broly.
"My name is Broly."
Broly answered honestly.
"That really is a wonderful name. Then, little brother Broly, could you help us?"
Akame, Kurome, and Mine frowned as they watched the distressed young lady crowd around Broly, practically fawning over him.
She clearly looked much older than the boy, yet she kept calling him little brother. Just hearing it gave them goosebumps.
