Early the next morning, Lyu went to the Tavern of the Bountiful Mistress and found the Poster Girl sweeping the entrance. She confessed to her that she, too, had fallen for the boy.
"Lyu, and here I trusted you so much. Is this how you repay my trust?"
"It was my fault, Sheele. Hit me or scold me as you like. I promise I won't talk back if you curse me, and I won't fight back if you strike me. Even if you want my life, I will have no complaints. After all, this life of mine was one you saved back then."
Lyu bowed deeply to Sheele and even offered up her Wooden Sword, looking very much as if she were Bowing with a Sword to Plead Guilty. Before, she had been wondering what women Broly might go around provoking, only for her to be the one who threw herself straight into it and fell for the Saiyan boy.
Although Adi had given her advice last night, after truly seeing Sheele, Lyu had subconsciously chosen the course of action that better suited her own personality, one that drew a clear line between grudges and favors.
