Leng Xiao first accompanies Yue Ye to the Devil Subduing Mountain Range to verify reports about Lin Feng and Cai'er. Drawn by Lin Feng's fighting intent, she volunteers to test him in battle. At the time, she is an aggressive, battle-hungry demon prodigy confident that her bloodline makes her unbeatable at the same rank. 31 33

Her fight with Lin Feng becomes the turning point of their relationship. After initially overwhelming him with Demonic Qi-enhanced fists and magic, she is pushed into transforming into a Heaven Defying Demon Dragon. Although initially connected to Lin Feng through rivalry and sparring, Leng Xiao gradually aids him against her own people.
