Background / History
Luo Yao recalls a past life before receiving the National Technology System. The system forcibly upgrades his “hardware,” leaving his thinking exceptionally clear and granting him near-perfect retention: he does not need to read material twice to remember it. In exchange, some memories become inaccessible, while his dislike of pretentious people remains unchanged. 1
The system requires Luo Yao to study and accumulate foundational knowledge before awarding him technologies. Using awarded technologies also earns recognition-based points, which can be spent in the system store. 1
As a child, Luo Yao skips from fifth grade into Wang Ergou’s son’s class and repeatedly outperforms the boy academically. When Wang Ergou mistreats Luo Yao’s parents, Luo Yao retaliates by publicly calling his son an idiot and surpassing him in schoolwork. 1
