Background / History

Su Wen created the World of Learning by opening a real space within a spatial interlayer, then using the connections between Book Pages across the continent to project the entire continent into it. He integrated his accumulated knowledge and theories into the world, using a Head Soul Bone as its core during its opening. 234

The system evolved from the Academy’s Mountain of Books and Sea of Learning. When the Soul Imprint Tomes in Academies across the continent reverted to Book Pages, they resonated and sent their power toward Spirit City; the resulting connection allowed Soul Masters with Soul Seals to enter the newly opened World of Learning. 234

Upon its public opening, Su Wen declared that every city Academy would serve as a branch while the World of Learning became the Academy’s true foundation. This removed the need for Soul Masters to travel to an Academy merely to study or communicate. 235

Su Wen later extended access to Sea God Island by establishing Academies in its Seven Great Cities and issuing Soul Seals to Sea Soul Masters. 263
