Xiao Zhan became a Power Attack System Battle Soul Master despite having the Fire Demon Tome, a Book Martial Soul. He earned the title “Fire Demon” through his fire-based close-quarters combat style and later became a Heaven Dou-Level Instructor at Heaven Dou Royal Academy. He and Bai Yuan, another Book Martial Soul master focused on theory, developed several techniques together. 25 28 29

Though employed by Heaven Dou Royal Academy and ennobled by the Heaven Dou Empire, Xiao Zhan retains ties to Spirit Hall: his wife is a hall master there, while his daughter studies at Spirit Hall Academy. 43

Bai Yuan introduced Su Wen to Xiao Zhan when Su Wen sought admission to Heaven Dou Royal Academy.
