Shrek Academy won the tournament, and the academies began an exchange program as Chen Feng returned home. He freed some of the Snow Empress’s sealed power, hunted down an Evil Soul Master, and returned to find Ma Xiaotao and Ling Luochen at odds.

• Chen Feng defeated Ma Rulong and helped Ma Xiaotao overcome Xiao Hongchen and Meng Hongchen, securing Shrek Academy’s team battle victory.
• Dai Yueheng, Ling Luochen, and Yao Haoxuan won the individual matches, and Shrek Academy received the championship and its rewards.
• Mu En approved greater investment in Soul Tools and student exchanges, while Jing Hongchen arranged to send Xiao Hongchen and Meng Hongchen to Shrek Academy.
• Chen Feng reunited with Wu Ming and spent time with her, while Zhang Lexuan confronted him about his relationships with Wu Ming and Ma Xiaotao.

Chen Feng deepened his relationships with Ling Luochen and Wu Ming while sparring with Zhang Lexuan, who broke through to the Union of Heaven and Man. As the Body Sect plotted to seize a humanoid Soul Beast embryo, Han Ruoruo developed feelings for Chen Feng and arranged to join Wu Ming, but had to slip away when he arrived.

• Ling Luochen explained how Ma Xiaotao had injured her, and Chen Feng decided to pursue Zhang Lexuan as someone who could help control the risks among the women in his life.
• Chen Feng visited Ma Xiaotao in the Heart Purifying Chamber, while the exchange students from the Sun Moon Royal Soul Tool Master Academy began their assessments at Shrek Academy.
• Xiao Hongchen and Meng Hongchen passed their assessments, and Chen Feng began sparring with Zhang Lexuan after she achieved the Union of Heaven and Man realm.
• Chen Feng spent time with Wu Ming and Ling Luochen, and Han Ruoruo discovered their secret relationship before learning that Chen Feng was the man they shared.
• The Body Sect learned that the Sun Moon Royal Soul Tool Master Academy had bought a Hundred-Thousand Year Humanoid Soul Beast embryo, and Du Busi ordered preparations to take it.

Chen Feng's relationships with Ma Xiaotao, Wu Ming, Han Ruoruo, and Ling Luochen shifted as he reached Soul Emperor and set out to obtain a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring. In the Star Dou Great Forest, he and the elders changed their plan and captured the Auspicious Beast, leaving her fate under negotiation.

• Han Ruoruo and Wu Ming grew involved with Chen Feng, and their intimacy was interrupted when Ma Xiaotao returned and fought them in a burst of jealousy.
• Ma Xiaotao confronted Chen Feng, then accepted Cai Mei'er's advice to stop forcing him to choose and made peace with his other relationships.
• Chen Feng openly appeared with Wu Ming and Han Ruoruo, reunited with Ling Luochen, and spent his second year cultivating until he broke through to Soul Emperor.
• Chen Feng defeated Bei Bei in a spar and convinced Mu En to send elders to help him hunt a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast for his Sixth Soul Ring.
• Ma Xiaotao, Ling Luochen, Wu Ming, and Han Ruoruo put aside their disputes to see Chen Feng off to the Star Dou Great Forest.

• After Scarlet King left to consult someone with authority, Xuan Zi proposed that the humans establish a connection with the Auspicious Beast, who cursed Chen Feng.

Chen Feng gained the Golden Lion King’s Soul Ring, defeated Shen Tao, and became Mu En’s chosen successor while taking on a teaching role at Shrek Academy. Meanwhile, the Auspicious Beast escaped the Star Dou Great Forest and entered the human world as Chen Qiu’er.

• Xuan Zi subdued the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, and Chen Feng completed Attribute Guidance with her as Di Tian arranged to exchange the Golden Lion King for the Auspicious Beast.
• Di Tian brought the wounded Golden Lion King to Shrek Academy, where Chen Feng killed it and absorbed its Soul Ring and left leg Soul Bone, reaching Level 64.
• Chen Feng defeated Shen Tao in a sparring match, and Mu En made him a Sea God Pavilion member and successor to the pavilion master position.
• Chen Feng restored the Snow Empress’s mature form by opening the Origin Power seal, then returned with her to Shrek Academy and discussed preparing Shrek’s forces for the Sun Moon Empire.
• Mu En assigned Chen Feng to choose Shrek City’s next City Lord, and Chen Feng proposed expanding the Shrek Army into a Soul Guidance Legion.
