In the blink of an eye, another semester had passed.

During that time, Ye Wen began compiling his own Compendium of Materia Medica.

When Ye Wen used to read novels, he had not thought much of it. But now that he considered it, Tang San had truly been incredibly bold. He had crossed into an entirely different world, yet still used the medical theories from his previous world to concoct medicine.

Fortunately, Tang San mainly refined poisons. Otherwise, there might have been medical accidents.

After all, even people with no medical knowledge had at least heard the saying about oranges turning into trifoliate oranges when grown in the north. The medicinal properties of the same herb could be completely different when it grew in different environments.

However, Ye Wen always chose an uninhabited corner when writing his medical book. Otherwise, if Tang San saw that he possessed such a treasure, he might very well try to morally blackmail Ye Wen on the spot into sharing it.

If he really faced such a situation, Ye Wen did not know whether he could endure Tang San's double standards without demanding that he hand over his Mysterious Heaven Skill, or simply fighting him outright and ultimately drawing out the hidden boss, Tang Hao.

Tch, having someone to rely on was nice, but it was awful when the other person's backing was stronger than his own.

During this semester, Ye Wen also brought Huo Yu'er to meet his family, and their relationship heated up rapidly.

Though Ye Wen was slow when it came to romance, he was not blind. Nearly two years had passed, yet Huo Yu'er's love for him had not diminished in the slightest. She was even more mature than those Naruto characters who wanted to date at ten or so.
