Background
Lu Chen originated in the Main World. His parents, both medical workers, died during a military-drafted incident when he was fourteen; he later returned to the villa given as compensation. The Sword Intent of Extermination of Immortals abruptly transported him from that world into the Condor Heroes World. 64
The Sword Intent resides in his Sea of Consciousness and offers a path toward Sword Immortality. Its teachings cannot be received freely: Lu Chen must first master exceptional sword techniques, which serve as keys for unlocking its layers and receiving their corresponding rewards. 4
Huang Rong encountered Lu Chen shortly after his arrival and became his first sword instructor. She taught him foundational stances, swordplay, meridian theory, and methods for cultivating Internal Energy from external practice. Her medicinal decoctions, instruction, and continued support accelerated his growth. 5 9 15
Appearance
Lu Chen is a tall, sturdy young man with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs. His presence is commonly described as heroic rather than conventionally delicate or refined. 47 182
- Initially had inch-long hair and wore unfamiliar Main World clothing, prompting Huang Rong to regard him as someone from an extraordinary background. 1 5
- Often carries multiple swords, creating an intimidating and unfathomable impression among martial artists. 47
- Commonly maintains a stern or cold expression around strangers to conceal his discomfort with social interaction. 182
- His extraordinary physique gives off an intense vitality; observers skilled in secret arts perceive his blood and qi as vigorous as a furnace. 144
Personality
Lu Chen is intensely disciplined and uncompromising in cultivation. He repeatedly trains until exhaustion, sleeps very little, and pursues every opportunity to expand his understanding of swordsmanship. His ruthless training habits reveal a fierce and determined core beneath an outwardly gentle manner. 29 61 85
He treats formal martial exchanges seriously, even against weaker opponents, because he believes every accomplished martial artist has something worth learning. His greatest strength is not simply talent, but his habit of analyzing opponents' principles, force application, movement, and internal methods before incorporating useful elements into his own path. 38 130 174
Despite his reputation, Lu Chen is generally modest about his standing. He refuses to claim supremacy without testing himself against the strongest available opponents, and he distinguishes between his physical advantages and his actual martial attainments. 142 182

- Uses Draw Sword to guide opponents into displaying their finest techniques, allowing him to study and improve from their breakthroughs. 174
Sword One: *White Rainbow Piercing the Sun*
Lu Chen's foundational killing move concentrates his body, qi, and sword intent into a single decisive thrust.
- Initially drained all of his strength after use, requiring substantial recovery time. 12
- Could threaten elite masters even before his cultivation base became profound. 16
- Later became usable without True Qi, relying on his Sword Body's strength, stamina, and physical resilience. 187
- Was used as the decisive counterattack against Ouyang Feng and later to kill Xu Kaishan. 61 187
Sword Body
Sword Three transforms Lu Chen's body into an increasingly durable weapon and enhances sword-based techniques.
- Progresses through Skin Tempering, Muscle Tempering, Bone and Tendon Tempering, and later Viscera Tempering. 92 125 155 235
- Greatly improves strength, endurance, recovery, and resistance to weapons and martial force. 124 155

- Enhances unarmed Sword Qi, finger techniques, and sword-type cultivation methods. 102 139
- His completed lung tempering further empowered Sword Qi released from his acupoints and pores. 235
Heart Sword
Sword Four is Lu Chen's mental-cultivation path, manifested as a lightning-shaped spiritual sword.
- Grants heightened spiritual perception, combat analysis, and control over True Qi. 126 130
- Allows him to sense opponents' movement, qi flow, force changes, and emotional states. 136 174
- Can interfere with enemy spiritual perception and aura sensing, making opponents unable to reliably track him through qi. 155
- Supports multitasking, including simultaneous acupoint refinement and Sword Body tempering. 155
- Advanced through the Twin Dragons World's favorable spiritual environment, the Heshi Jade, Calamity Qi, and primal essence. 130 155 199 209
Sword Qi and Finger Techniques
Lu Chen can wield sword power without a physical blade.
- Formless Sword Finger combines finger force with sword intent; he defeated Reverend Lingzhi in one move and severed two of Ouyang Ke's fingers. 48 49
- Five-Finger Sword Aura channels Sword Qi through all five fingers and can be combined with the Nine Yin Divine Claw. 57
- Six Meridian Divine Sword was deduced through combat with Tianlong Temple's monks; its simultaneous six-sword use remains highly taxing. 101 102
- Yin Yang Twin Flying Sword combines Yin and Yang properties within a single Sword Qi stream for explosive damage. 155
- Sword Qi Threads were developed to counter the flexible strands of Xi Ying's Purple Qi Heavenly Net. 194
Sword Wind Techniques
Lu Chen adapts sword wind into movement control, battlefield disruption, and defense.
- Sword Wind Vortex creates shifting currents that pull at nearby opponents and hinder their movement. 130
- Sword Wind Domain / Force Field combines his Sword Wind Domain with principles from the Heavenly Demon Force Field. 166
- Can disturb sight, hearing, qi sensing, and eventually spiritual perception by layering sword winds with Heart Sword power. 130 136
- Uses the force field for limited telekinetic manipulation, such as drawing objects toward himself. 219
Calamity Sword
Sword Five converts refined Calamity Qi into destructive sword techniques associated with disasters.
- Ten Directions Annihilation releases a torrent of Sword Qi capable of cutting through elite guards and battlefield formations. 125 140
- Can incorporate calamities such as flame, lightning, shockwaves, earthquakes, wind, and thunder into his attacks. 227 245 246
- Refining Calamity Qi simultaneously advances his True Qi, Sword Body, and Heart Sword. 199
- Excessive refinement can trigger destructive and murderous negative emotions, requiring patience and emotional control. 218
Flying Swords and Sword Arrays
After inheriting the Void Sword Sect's artifact methods, Lu Chen began forging and controlling flying swords.
- His blood and True Qi grant a special enhancement when forging sword-type weapons. 227
- The White Rainbow Sword was upgraded with Supreme Profound Gold; the Ice Sword was enhanced with Cold Chi blood. 231
- His flying sword can travel more than fifteen hundred paces under control and cut Mysterious Iron with ease. 227
