Lu Jun's gaze involuntarily fell once more upon the only able-bodied man who was still idle.
The Titled Douluo felt Lu Jun's benevolent gaze and shuddered all over before immediately shouting:
"I-I'll go clean up the corpses and the larger debris right away!"
Before his words had even faded, he slipped away like his feet had been greased and began swiftly clearing the bodies strewn across the courtyard, moving so fast he nearly left afterimages.

Lu Jun called after him.

The Titled Douluo hurriedly answered.
Watching his busy back, Lu Jun's lips curled into a faint, ambiguous smile. His voice was not loud, yet it carried clearly to the other man's ears.
"Oh, and don't even think about sneaking off to send word or escape while you're cleaning up the perimeter."
His tone carried the teasing amusement of a cat playing with a mouse.
"You're welcome to try and see whether, even if you run to the ends of the earth, I can bring you back in an instant."
"I'd be more than happy to give you the chance to verify that."
The Titled Douluo froze in the middle of moving a corpse. Without turning around, he answered in an incomparably firm voice, even tinged with grievance.
"My lord, what are you talking about? My loyalty to you... ah, no, my desire to live is witnessed by heaven and earth!"
"How could I possibly be thinking of running? I absolutely have no such intention!"
"You can give it a try." Lu Jun continued teasing him.
"I won't!" the Titled Douluo declared firmly.
