The Federation evolved from the Sun Moon Empire, which unified the continent ten thousand years earlier. Its leadership is centered on the Federation Speaker, supported by Deputy Speakers, core Councilors, the Commander-in-Chief, Chief of Staff, and Legion Commanders. 340 748

The Speaker’s position has remained in the Xu Family because its bloodline possesses an inherited authority that can influence or borrow portions of Douluo Star’s planar rules. 396
