Alice and the others could not help but frown at this, deep in thought.
Indeed, they had never expected there to be so many survivors aboard. More than two thousand people had previously been drugged unconscious and locked inside glass chambers, and even that had taken up nearly half the ship's cabin space. Naturally, they could not lock them back up now, but this ship simply could not accommodate so many survivors!
"And food and water. Supplying food for over two thousand people is a huge problem!"
Chris's words dealt Alice another heavy blow. It seemed they were about to face an enormous challenge. Feeding more than two thousand people would not be easy, especially in this post-apocalyptic world where civilization had completely collapsed. One wrong move, and people would soon starve to death!
Just as Alice and the others wore grave expressions and found themselves at a loss, Chen Mo, who had remained silent all this time, suddenly spoke.
"I think I have a way!"
Everyone turned to look at Chen Mo, anticipation rising on their faces. So far, Chen Mo had never let them down. No matter what problem they encountered, he always seemed to have a solution!
But before Chen Mo could speak again, a burst of commotion suddenly came from the deck outside, forcing them to set the matter aside for the moment.
"What's going on outside?"
As Angel Ortiz spoke, he moved to the window and pulled aside the blinds to look out. He saw that all the survivors on the deck had their heads raised, staring in the same direction as though they had spotted something!
"Guys, something's not right!"
Alice glanced at Chen Mo, then said solemnly.
"Let's go take a look!"
Soon, everyone left the bridge and arrived on the deck outside.
