Background / History

Chen Mo initially kept his extraordinary abilities hidden. His Spatial Storage began as a cube only ten centimeters across and grew slowly; during this period, he trained martial arts and throwing knives while deliberately maintaining a low profile. Even before later transformations, he could defeat four or five strong men and accurately strike a flying sparrow within ten meters with a throwing knife. 1

A car accident triggered a surge in his mental strength and awakened his ability to traverse time and space into other worlds. Unlike other historical holders of limited supernatural abilities, Chen Mo could enter different worlds, though not at will. 2

In the Captain America world, Chen Mo consolidated control of HYDRA through purges and reorganization, leaving the organization fully under his command. He also established a Chinese martial arts school in Brooklyn and developed a streamlined combat style centered on speed, decisive attacks, and vital points. 8 10
