Seeing Alice's eyelids trembling constantly yet unable to close, Chen Mo nodded in satisfaction, then controlled the contact lens to float into her eye.
Looking at the layer of air bubbles between the contact lens and her eyeball, Chen Mo understood why it had been squeezed back out by her eyelid despite already being put in. Simply placing it inside was not enough; it had to fit completely against the eyeball so it would not be pushed out when she blinked!
Chen Mo immediately used his telekinesis to force out the air. Only after the contact lens had fully adhered to the eyeball did he withdraw his telekinesis.
He refused to believe it would fail this time!
Alice felt the restraints around her body vanish instantly and instinctively blinked. This time, however, the lens did not fall out again.
Alice looked at Chen Mo and asked helplessly.
"Was that telekinesis too?"
Chen Mo nodded.
His telekinesis could be used as a machine tool; using it to put in a contact lens was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. But in that situation, it truly would have been difficult without telekinesis. No matter how strong he was, he could do nothing about Alice's eyelids with his fingers alone!
Alice rolled her stiff, aching neck after having held her head up for so long. Given the height difference between her and Chen Mo, she had needed to tilt her head back nearly ninety degrees. After keeping that position for so long, her neck muscles had grown somewhat rigid.
As soon as the lens was successfully fitted, a blue projection appeared before Alice.
"Neural connection successful. Beginning download..."
Alice's expression immediately changed. Her moving neck stilled, and she stood there quietly with intense focus, a warm smile occasionally blooming across her
