"Every five thousand years, they align in a straight line in an event known as the Celestial Convergence. During this period, the boundaries between the Nine Realms become blurred. Our world will partially overlap with Asgard and the other realms, creating Spatial Channels in certain places. Through those channels, one can reach the other realms!"
As they listened to Chen Mo, everyone present wore expressions strikingly similar to Dr. Abraham Erskine's earlier look of disbelief.
Although Thor had been proven to truly exist, everyone present was a top scientist in their respective fields. They would not simply use mythological stories to explain everything; they would seek scientific explanations for these events.
In their view, Thor, like the Chitauri, was an alien. He had merely descended upon Earth many years ago, leaving behind myths and legends that belonged to his people.
As for Asgard, the Nine Realms were probably just a different way of referring to different planets. There was no such thing as a World Tree.
Even if some kind of Celestial Convergence truly occurred, it should be like the alignment of the nine planets in the Solar System, producing at most natural phenomena such as solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, gravitational tides, and the like. The overlapping of realms and Spatial Channels were simply impossible in their eyes!
