Loki could not help looking at Thor as he asked with a frown.
"Why do you trust me?"
He had deceived Thor and Odin many times before. He did not believe they would still trust him so much.
Hearing this, Thor gave Loki a deep look and answered in a low voice.
"I don't trust you, but Mother did!"
"I'll admit that when we fought in the past, I did hold out a sliver of hope for you, because you were my brother after all!"
Loki's expression changed slightly at that. He recalled all the times Thor had shown him mercy, every bit of trust ultimately betrayed by him!
Just as Loki reflected on all the betrayals and harm he had inflicted upon Thor, he heard Thor continue.
"But now, that hope is gone. I won't show you mercy again. If you dare betray me, I'll kill you!"
Loki was not angry at Thor's words. He could feel Thor's disappointment in him.
Loki asked himself honestly: if their positions were reversed, faced with betrayal and deception from his brother time and again, he might have hated that brother to the bone long ago, rather than merely being disappointed like Thor was!
Looking at Thor's stern expression, Loki felt a warmth in his heart and asked with a smile.
"When do we leave?"
"Now!"
Thor immediately released Loki from his cell and led him out of the dungeon.
After being locked in the dungeon for more than half a year, Loki could not help feeling excited to regain his freedom. As he followed Thor forward, he asked, "Brother, what's your plan? The two of us take your little girlfriend to Svartalfheim, use her as bait to lure out the Dark Elves, and then what? You unleash your might and wipe them
