On the ground, Jane Foster was still asleep at the bow of the craft, while Loki and Thor sat at the stern without speaking.
The airship drifted slowly forward. After passing through the wreckage of two more enormous warships, the space ahead finally opened up. There were no more warship wrecks in sight, yet they still had not left the battlefield ruins.
Before long, however, Thor and Loki both raised their heads and looked into the sky ahead.
An enormous black warship, shaped like a giant sword and identical to the wrecks they had seen before but completely intact, slowly emerged from the clouds!
"Jane!"
Thor called out to wake the still-sleeping Jane Foster.
Jane Foster woke up. Seeing Thor and Loki looking up at the sky with grave expressions, she got to her feet and looked up as well. Once she clearly saw the enormous Dark Elf warship descending toward the ground, she muttered,
"Malekith!"
Thor and Loki exchanged a glance. Loki immediately adjusted the airship's course and flew toward where the Dark Elf warship was landing.
A few kilometers vanished in an instant at full speed, but they did not fly directly up to the warship. Instead, they quietly landed on a mountaintop over two hundred meters away.
Crouching low on the summit, the three looked down at the enormous Dark Elf warship below, planted straight into the ground like a sword.
Malekith and Algrim had already emerged from the warship with more than a dozen Dark Elf soldiers and were striding in their direction!
"Are you ready?"
Thor asked Jane Foster softly, noticing her nervousness.
