The Fire Dragon stopped flying after grabbing Tony Stark, hovering in midair. After shaking him around for a while, it raised its neck again and used one foreclaw to seize Tony Stark's body in front of its mouth, preventing him from escaping. Then it opened its jaws and began chewing on him again!
Amid the screeching metallic friction, sparks burst from the dragon's teeth and the armor's surface. The suit's gold-and-red coating was quickly scraped away in several places, exposing the silver alloy beneath. The sharp, hard dragon teeth raked across the armor, actually leaving scratches on the surface of the Alpha Alloy armor!
Once the Fire Dragon stopped shaking him around, Tony Stark finally recovered from the blood rushing to his head. Though the giant dragon was still biting him incessantly, he finally had a chance to fight back!
Tony Stark first activated the Arc Pulse Cannons in his palms. While the thrusters had been enhanced, the Arc Pulse Cannons—and even the Cluster Cannon in his chest—had also been greatly strengthened. Yet the result of the attack was no different from before!
Neither the Arc Pulse Cannons nor the more powerful Cluster Cannon in his chest did anything to the Fire Dragon, which was immune to fire and possessed formidable defenses. However, Tony Stark was not discouraged. He had expected this and had never counted on energy weapons to inflict much damage on it.
